It is very hard to automate a site you have no control over and Google sites can change without notice.  They can also be very difficult to automate, because of who they are designed.  You would need a compelling reason to want to do that.

Generally it depends what you want to do. 

 

Doing a basic search for an area and Pan/Zoom is fairly trivial, anything else and you’ll probably need your devs to expose some hooks into the google maps API.
