Delighted to announce the availability of a native iOS app with
additional optimizations for iPad on the Apple AppStore. Scalr Mobile
is available for sale here: http://itunes.apple.com/app/scalr-mobile/id523122533?mt=8
Note: This is not an official app from Scalr. We also do not have any
"affiliation" with Scalr however we have worked with Sebastian and his
team in working through the app. Any omissions are completely our
responsibility and not with Scalr, Scalr is only responsible for the
APIs that we access.
Some of the important features:
1. Works with both Scalr.net and self hosted Scalr
2. Add account and access all farm information
3. Start and Terminate farms
4. Start and terminate servers
5. Complete DNS management
6. Full log and event view of all servers and farms
7. Statistics display
Login restriction: If you have switched on 2-factor auth in Scalr, the
app will not be able to auto login for you. However you can retrieve
your API credentials from Scalr and enter them manually or copy/paste
from an email.
Depending on the adoption within the Scalr community and the Scalr
customer base, we plan to add additional features to it including:
1. Environments
2. Ability to run scripts
3. Snapshots
4. APNS notifications
and more.
