MacKenzie: It’s possible it was just very minor. Can you put weight on it?

She gestured for him to get off the biobed. He stepped down and stood up.  It ached and throbbed a little.  As he stood, the pain stayed but didn’t get any worse.

Ukinix:  Yeah, I can.  Thankfully I don’t think I’ve done it that badly this time.

He bent his knee slightly to life it off the ground to give it some relief, before extending it down to test putting weight on it again.

Ukinix: ::Nodding:: Not too bad.

MacKenzie: ::gesturing for him to get back on the bed, consulting the tricorder:: It seems like you just twisted it - nothing severe. It will probably be fine, but if you want to be on the safe side, I’d suggest either wrapping it or wearing a brace to prevent any… unwanted movement. Anything else bothering you?

Wil sat back on the biobed.

Ukinix: No, no other complaints.  I’ve been running in the mornings when I can - ::smirking:: usually away from C’lem when I first get to engineering.

MacKenzie: He is a...trying individual. How’s everything else going with the rest of the engineering crew?

Ukinix: Everything’s been good lately.

MacKenzie: Great, glad to hear it. Well, I don’t see any reason why I can’t clear you for duty. When you’re done with the biobed, make sure you see Gabrielle on your way out, and I’ll look forward to seeing you and your ankle in a week.

Ukinix: ::Sighing:: OK… I’ll schedule a follow up.

MacKenzie: ::sternly, but slightly joking:: And next time, don’t make me chase you down, Lieutenant.

Ukinix: ::Getting off bed slowly:: Alright, I better look at this biobed. What’s been the problem-

Phan’ta’go: =/\= Hello, Doctor MacKenzie, this is C’lem Phan’ta’go, can you hear me? =/\=

MacKenzie: ::grimmacing:: =/\= Yes, I can hear you, Crewman… =/\=

Phan’ta’go: =/\= From engineering =/\=

MacKenzie: ::sighing:: =/\= What do you need, Crewman? =/\=

Phan’ta’go: =/\= Just informing you that a… ::console tapping sounds:: Lieutenant Wil Ukinix will be coming up to repair the biobed. =/\=

Ukinix: =/\= C’lem.  You clown.  I’m already here. =/\=

Phan’ta’go: =/\= It’s important that Engineering informs the rest of the ship of our activities.  Just keeping up our communication standards. =/\=

Wil closed his eyes, and sighed in frustration.

MacKenzie: ::closing her eyes, rubbing the bridge of her nose:: =/\= Thanks so much, C’lem. Don’t know what we’d do without you. =/\=

Phan’ta’go: =/\= All part of the service, Doctor MacKenzie. Phan’ta’go out. =/\=

Ukinix: I’m sorry about him.  ::Turning to run diagnostics on biobed::  He’s an idiot.

MacKenzie: He is… trying. Make sure you see Gabrielle on your way out, or so help me, Lieutenant…

Addison retreated to her office. Had she had a door, it’s likely it would have slammed behind her.
