Blake: Doc, I have a minor medical problem.

Ryan: ::smiling fading just a little:: Oh? What seems to be the problem?

Blake: Well, on top of my bi-monthly physical, I've been dealing with a burning sensation that's been getting progressively worse.

::But before the doctor could make any insinuations, she rolled up her right arm, which (thankfully) didn't look as bad as what she'd expected it to. Actually, it didn't look like anything was wrong at all, aside from a minor darkening along the lines where bioelectricity presumably traveled from her palm and up to her forearm (which shouldn't have been visible at all), of which was warm to touch, to boot.::

Ryan: Is there any pain... Other than the burning sensation?

Blake: Well, it's definitely not comfortable. I don't know if it affects my producing a shock - I've honestly been too concerned it'd get worse to try.

::She motioned for Sky to get onto the biobed, moving to grab a medical tricorder.::

Ryan: ::as she started scanning Blake’s arm:: How long have you been having problems?

Blake: For the last few weeks. I had it checked out by doctor's on the Edge, but they're not familiar with Brekkian physiology, so the best they could do was tell me to rest up. Only now has it started giving me actual pain.

::The Doctor, however, gave a look that expressly stated that she saw right through whatever nonsense Blake had just spouted to her.::

Ryan: Is it just in this arm or both?

Blake: Pain is primarily in this one. My left upper arm feels strained, though.

Ryan: When was the last time you produced a shock?

Blake: Two weeks ago, against medical advice.

Ryan: Response?

Blake: It'd been a bad day.

Ryan: Response?

::Sky glanced back down at her forearm, clenching a soft fist.::

Blake: You're gonna tell me I'm burning myself from the inside out, aren't you.

Ryan: Response?

Blake: Honestly? Even if it *had*, I wouldn't remember. But I can guaranteee that this hasn't happened before in the last three years of my life.
