(( Science Lab 9, Deck 3, USS Thor ))
Tenna smiled over at the petty officer assisting her with the gravimetric analyses. The Thor's chemistry lab was one of the lucky few to have received a small sample of the unknown object, and Tenna, as the resident chemist for the department, had been running every test she could think of. Not that they had told her much, so far, but every unknown was one more possibility.
That was one of her mottoes, and she certainly wasn't going to give up on it now. If there was one thing she'd learned in her half-year in Stafleet (so far!), it was that every crisis was just another opportunity.
She looked at the nearest time display, and then double-took.
Emond: Oh, dear. Is it that time already?
Science Tech: Looks like it.
Emond: Last I saw, the ensign was in Sickbay. Computer, where is Ensign Wilkins?
Computer: =/\= Ensign Tara Wilkins is in Sickbay on Deck 10. =/\=
Tenna frowned at this report. She knew that her fellow was working with medical personnel to come up with some answers to the mysterious object's identity, and to find some way to remove it from the ship. Or something like that. But if they still hadn't moved, then Tenna hoped they were having more luck than she was.
Emond: Are you okay finishing this on your own?
Science Tech: Definitely. Go ahead.
Emond: Thanks.
She offered her assistant a quick smile before heading off through the newly emptied ship.
(( Sickbay, Deck 10 ))
Tenna arrived in Sickbay with a bit of a start. She'd known that Ensign Wilkins was working with medical officers, but she didn't expect to see Commanders Teller and Garcia, usually the first and second officers, respectively (although now she supposed they were in command -- and good luck to them!), overseeing their work. Tenna could imagine how nerve-wracking that could be, though thanks to her long El-Aurian life, everyone present was several decades younger than her.
Not that she considered the superior officers to be kids. Well, not exactly. They had years and years of Starfleet experience that she had, after all. But she grinned to herself: She couldn't help it if they still all looked so young.
Emond: Excuse me, I didn't mean to interrupt.
Teller / Garcia: Responses
Wilkins / Quen / Alieth: Responses
Tenna held up the PADD she'd brought with her, and motioned to the time displayed there.
Emond: I apologize if I'm early -- I was supposed to report to help Ensign Wilkins and the medical team. I also have the results from the chemistry lab.
Teller / Garcia: Responses
Wilkins / Quen / Alieth: Responses
