::Using a Epsilon-8 holoprojector to create something solid that was larger than a chair was probably the most ridiculous decision one could make, but he could hardly fault her for it. She was under a lot of pressure, and it was indeed Tristam's fault.

::Regardless, the fake table was likely pushing the tiny projector to its limits meaning trouble. Last thing he needed was for it to short out as the Captain walked past.::

::So, with a Vaicor projector in hand (because Vaicor were a better make and more reliable and there's no way he would have allowed an Epsilon projector on the Bridge if he'd known about it), he set off to quickly replace the projector. He already had the table's specs ready to go - it was a matter of swapping out the projectors without anyone (hopefully) noticing.::

::The doors to the Bridge opened, and he took two steps out before seeing Rahman.

::And he quickly spun on his heels and two those two steps back.::

Rahman: Response?

::He froze, just at the door, cringing, but by the time he'd spun back around (projector behind his back), he had a Rodulan's typical overly-cheery expression (for his people were certainly not known for their subtlety).::

Core:::drawn out:: *Hey*, Ervami. What-what are you doing here?

::He had said all this with a smile, though internally he was freaking out. She was at the table.

::SHE WAS AT THE TABLE.::

Rahman: Response?

Core: Really? Now? Of all times?

Rahman: Response?

Core: You know, it's shore leave, right? We should . . . go . . . out. And do stuff. I hear Astro-1 has a multicultural display right about now . . .

::No he didn't. He made that up. But if she fell for it and he managed to draw her away, then he could somehow get a message to Loupaz to do the switch for him and Rahman would never know the difference.

::Though it'd be equally as fantastic if that display actually happened.::
