Lt Alexander Bishop - Exam

:: Alex turned to the rest of Sickbay and raised his voice so they could hear. ::

Bishop: Everybody, go ahead and report to SB285's Main Sickbay and offer to help if they need you, but until further notice, the ship is off limit. :: Alex turned to Nurse Gewel. :: Except for you, come assist me with this examination please.

D’piere: TAG

:: Alex watched as members of the crew grabbed a few things they might need and started to head out of Sickbay. He turned his attention back to the body he was standing over and continued his examination. ::

:: Alex turned the body over slightly and started to look at the laceration on the back. It definitely looked like someone had slipped some type of blade into the victim's back and pierced the heart. ::

Bishop: Nurse, take samples of this area here. :: Alex pointed to the wound on the back. :: And have the sample analyzed and sent to Colonel Nugra immediately. 

D’piere: TAG

:: Alex also noticed a discoloring of the hands. The seemed to be a dark orange in color, which was odd, given the complexion of the rest of the body. He took a sample of skin from the hands and handed that the Gewel as well. ::

Bishop: Also, get this analyzed and sent as well.

D’piere: TAG

:: The analysis was mostly complete, but seemed to lead to multiple causes of death. He appeared to have been poisoned by some type of contact poison, as well as being stabbed from behind in the heart. Alex was unsure which actually killed the victim first, but both causes would certainly have done the deed. ::

Bishop: =/\= Bishop to Colonel Nugra. =/\=

Bishop: =/\= Analysis completed, Nurse D'piere is sending you 2 separate samples with their analysis. Our victim was both poisoned and stabbed from behind. While I'm no expert, I would hazard a guess that you are looking for multiple suspects. =/\=

Nugra: =/\= TAG =/\=

Bishop: =/\= Captain Faranfey has insisted that we depart from the Doyle, so I will have everything sent to SB285's primary Sickbay.  You can meet me there if you have additional questions.

Nugra: =/\= TAG =/\=

:: As the mysterious, almost as if possessed, replicator was beamed off of the ship and destroyed, Alex could sense that things on the ship were instantly better. It was as if a great evil had been destroyed, and in the aftermath, all that was good in the universe could feel the relief and rejoice. ::

Bishop: =/\= Bishop out. =/\=

Nugra: =/\= TAG =/\=

:: Alex instructed the computer to send the remains over to SB285's sickbay and then packed up his things. ::

Bishop: Nurse, when you have sent the samples to Colonel Nugra, please report to Sickbay on the station.

D’piere: TAG

:: Alex did not want to leave the ship, it was his home. But orders were orders, and until they fixed whatever was going on with the ship, it was apparently safer to be on the Starbase. ::
