:: It was a busy day, Vlad was waiting for several people whom would be coming about an hour apart from each other, all bringing latinum. His shuttle repairs were done and he was going to collect his profits and leave for another sector, putting a long distance between this place and himself. ::

:: All in all, Vlad expected about 75 latinum bars between all of the people he had dealt with, all who wanted their secrets to remain that way.  Some would consider what Vlad did to be reprehensible, but to him, it was a way of life. He thrilled in the chase and in the victory. True, it did come easy for him in many cases, but there was the occasional dark character who he needed to watch out for. ::

:: While Vlad might chose some victims poorly, there was a certain exhilaration over the win. But others, he knew he needed to avoid. There were a few this trip that made him think twice about his methods and if he should even engage them, but he thought the risk was worth the reward. ::

:: But then the unexpected came. It was too late and there was nothing he could do about it. The knife blade entered his back and pierced his heart. He knew in an instant that he was dead, and no way to tell anyone who did it. ::
