((The Look Outt, Deck 10, USS Columbia))

((Time Index: Shortly after their shift.))

:: James walked in with Pholin, PADD in hand.  He already had a preliminary list of places he would like to go, but figured a consolidated list with a short description of the place would be good for the crew.  They could also communicate with the Losarians to let them know to expect an influx of mostly not-blue people to beam down. ::

:: They found a table, shortly a server came by. ::

Colquhoun: A scotch, if you don’t mind.  Laphroaig. :: He looked to Pholin. ::

Duyzer: Uhm-... One Andorr-Loatac Ale, please. ::he noticed the waiter had no idea what he was talking about:: Just mix Andorian Ale and Loatac Cider, please.

:: James nodded to the server and then looked to Pholin. ::

Colquhoun: So, shall we?

Duyzer: Ah, yes. The list. ::beat:: I've been digging through the data sent to us by the Illrith, there seem to be quite a few interesting places.

Colquhoun: Agreed, I’ve heard that they have one portion that is similar to the historic Earth city of Venice, complete with some equivalent of gondolas.  I would very much like to see that. ::beat:: And the huge lake near the equator.  Did you know that it…

::He trailed off, seeing the look on his companion’s face.  He was not sure if it was fear of deep water or what, but knew to drop it. He cleared his throat and signified he was done.::

Duyzer: Indeed, I've heard lots of crewmembers want to visit the Varoth Market as well. ::beat:: Shall we swap PADDs?

Colquhoun: Oh, sure.

:: James handed over his PADD, taking Pholin’s.  He began to read through, noting that there were many similarities, but some he had not seen. ::

Duyzer: This National Archive does sound interesting... I might just see if they'd be welcoming to foreigners. The Losarians seem quite secretive about their technologies.

:: The waiter came back with the drinks, Colquhoun’s in a rocks glass.  It was served as it should be, neat. He imagined the bartender knew well enough who was being served.  He had spent a few nights at the bar just chatting with the man and educated him on the finer points of whisky.  The smoky nose always made him wistful of back home as he took a small sip before setting the glass down. ::

Colquhoun: That’s true.  However, I’m hoping we may be able to broker some access, even limited, as a show of good will.

Duyzer: Very true. ::beat:: And what do you think of the waterfalls? Have you ever seen a fully frozen waterfall?

Colquhoun: Aye, I have.  We’ve a waterfall on my home island called North River Falls.  It freezes in the winter and is beautiful. I highly recommend seeing something like that at least once.

Duyzer: ?

Colquhoun: Make sure you take pictures then.  ::He took another sip from his glass.:: Speaking of nature, they have a Museum of Natural History, showing animals from the moons and other plans.  As well as what they have of extinct species here. I imagine some of our more scientifically minded folk may wanna see that, y’know?

Duyzer: ?

Colquhoun: That’s probably a good idea. ::He tapped some inputs on the PADD, pulling his list from his PADD to Pholin’s, merging them and removing duplicates, before pushing the information back to his PADD.::

Duyzer: ?
