Hello all

Im getting this error when trying to set a satchmo project on a ubuntu server... developing (local) environment works like a charm, but I dont know why Im getting the following error on the server when I try ./manage <any command>:

Error: Can't find the file 'settings.py' in the directory containing 'manage.py'. It appears you've customized things.
You'll have to run django-admin.py, passing it your settings module.
(If the file settings.py does indeed exist, it's causing an ImportError somehow.)

This is the settings file

Is there anything in the settings file wrong?

Thank you!

looks like it can't find the settings.py file, are you sure it is there?

I hope this is obvious, but you've included your password and secret key here which is a big security issue. Please make sure you change them!

Maybe there is a space after settings.py like "settings.py ".
Did you try to import settings from a python terminal to see what happens?
Can you import any other python file in that directory? Could it be a file system problem?

Find a developer you trust and have them ssh into your server and
check it out. That's my best advice!

I can actually get into the python shell not via manage shell, and import satchmo_store, and django!

Ok figure it out, it was just in front of my nose all the time, it was so simple I just pass by it, I added try, except to the import of local_settings, and that was it!

so Thank you all for trying to help me and pointing what to review :D
