Hi,

There seem to be varying representations of the chandrabindu (अँ) in SLP. The Sanskrit Library marks it as ~ but it's not compatible with Sanscript which doesn't render the ~ properly and in fact seems to be broken in its own definition of what an SLP chandrabindu looks like. Can somebody please tell me which is correct?

Thanks,
Prashant

SLP is brain child of Sanskrit Library. So treat it as correct. ~ is correct

Agree with Dhaval. Also, you can find the "official"(?) definition of SLP1 (which stands for Sanskrit Library Phonetic 1) in their book "Linguistic Issues in Encoding Sanskrit" at http://sanskritlibrary.org/Sanskrit/pub/lies_sl.pdf
