मैं संस्‍कृत भाषा की सहायता से एक सफल और त्रूटीरहि‍त अनुवाद सॉफ्टवेयर का नि‍र्माण करना चाहता हूॅं, कृपया इस विषय की जानकारी रखने वाले गृप मेंबर्स के नाम सुझाऐं, जि‍न से इस वि‍षय पर चर्चा हो सकती है।

अपना विचार बताइये जिससे कोई आपको सहायता कर सके । संस्कृत भाषा का इसमें क्या रोल रहेगा? संस्कृत से अन्य भाषाओं मे अनुवाद य अन्य भाषाओं से संस्कृत में अनुवाद या अन्य ही भाषाओं का संस्कृत्तेतर भाषा में अनुवाद?

सबसे पहले संस्‍कृत से हिंदी और अन्‍य भारतीय भाषाअों मे अनुवाद का एक
ऐसा सॉफ्टवेयर बनाया जा सकता हैं जो भारतीय भाषाअो में संस्‍कृत पाठ का
अनुवाद करता हो। अंग्रेजी से जब हम हिंदी में मशि‍नी (गूगल) अनुवाद करते
हैं तो उसमें समस्‍या यह आती हैं कि‍ वह अंग्रेजी की भाषा प्रकृति‍ के
अनुसार अनुवाद करता है इसके कारण कई त्रृटि‍यां रहती हैं। ऐसा सॉफ्टवेयर
जो पहले अंग्रेजी के पाठ को संस्‍कृत व्‍याकरण पर अनुवाद करें और उसके
बाद उसे सभी भारतीय भाषाअों में अनुवाद करें क्‍या यह संभव हैं ?
क्‍योंकि‍ संस्‍कृत का ग्रामर सबसे सटीक और त्रृटीहीन हैं। मुझे ऐसा लगता
हैं कि‍ यदि‍ इस प्रकार का सॉफ्टवेयर जो अंग्रेजी > संस्‍कृत > हि‍ंदी और
अन्‍य भारतीय भाषा में अनुवाद करेगा तो काफी अचूक अनुवाद प्राप्‍त होगा।
हालांकि‍ इसके लि‍ए कंप्‍यूटर को पहले संस्‍कृत ग्रामर और शब्‍दावली का
इनपूट देना होगा, जो बहुत कड़ा हैं। इसपर अपने वि‍चार बताऐं क्‍या यह
संभव हो सकता है ?

अगर सारी भाषाओं के एक दूसरे में अनुवाद में x % त्रुटि मानकर चलें तो

इंग्लिश -> हिन्दी अनुवाद की त्रुटि x %
इंग्लिश -> संस्कृत -> हिन्दी अनुवाद की त्रुटि 2x+x^2 %

क्यों त्रुटि बढाई जाए ?

इंग्लिश -> हिन्दी अनुवाद तुलनात्मक तौर से कम गलतियाँ देगा

I have been working with Paninian grammar simulator for more than 3 years for now. It is mostly a generative grammar. Not much of analytical dat in Paninian grammar.

e.g. if you want to generate a sandhi of two words, Panini comes handy (generating a new word).

If you want machine to analyse a sandhi, there are no backward Paninian rules. The rules have to be conjectured from forward rules.

And when it comes to samAsa and kArakas etc, it is वक्तुर्विवक्षा which is paramount. That will have to be fed by a human even in generative phase.

So analytic grammar has not been a stronghold of Sanskrit grammar for sure.

This is not accurate. Google Translate is not based on English grammar or any grammar for that matter, but is instead a statistical machine translation, based on a corpus of parallel texts. This translation does go through English text in cases when there does not exist a sufficiently large bilingual corpus between the source and target languages (which is admittedly the case for most pairs of languages), but the point to make here is that Google Translate, based on simply finding patterns and with no knowledge of grammar (English or any other), works far better than rule-based translation that is aware of grammar. It is worth trying, and good luck to you; just be aware that the approach has been surpassed by other approaches in practice.

Due to 0.02% completion status of system build, it is a context translator. Given your interest, we could collaborate on build corpus of training data set for translation.

This is still an uphill task but better one than hand coding all Panini rules.

संस्कृत वैज्ञानिक भाषा है और दुनिया की अन्य भाषाओं का जन्म हुआ है भारत की सभी भाषाएं संस्कृत से ज्यादा प्रभावित है यदि हम संस्कृत से अन्य भारतीय भाषाओं का सॉफ्टवेयर बना लेते हैं तो संस्कृत को माध्यम बनाकर भारतीय भाषाओं में अनुवाद बहुत अच्छे तरीके से हो सकता है यह मशीनी अनुवाद ना होकर संस्कृति की पृष्ठभूमि में सटीक अनुवाद होगा भारत की भाषागत समस्या और विभिन्न सरकारी कामकाज ओं में भारतीय भाषाओं का प्रयोग ना होना इस समस्या का समाधान हो सकता है हम दूसरे की भाषा से जो विदेशी भाषा है उसके माध्यम से किया हुआ अनुवाद सटीक कभी नहीं हो सकता यह दे हम भारतवर्ष में भाषा समस्या समाप्त करना चाहते हैं तो भारतवर्ष की सभी भाषाओं को सम्मान देना होगा कोई भी व्यक्ति किसी भी भाषा में कहीं पर भी अपना कार्य सरकारी कार्य अपनी भाषा के माध्यम से कर सकता है भाषागत दूरी लगभग समाप्त हो जाएगी वार्तावली जो दूरदर्शन का कार्यक्रम है उसमें एक बार संस्कृत अनुवाद के लिए विषय आया था उस संदर्भ में कोई वैज्ञानिक कार्य भी कर रहा है वहां से जानकारी कर इस विषय में कितना कार्य हुआ है यह जानकारी उपलब्ध कराएं

आज के समय जब हम चांद पर पहुंच रहे हैं तो यह छोटा सा कार्य बड़ी आसानी से कंप्यूटर के माध्यम से हो सकता है हम जो बोलते हैं उसको ठीक उसी तरीके से टाइप कर रहा है तो आगे बढ़कर इस विषय में या भारत सरकार काम करें या भारत सरकार द्वारा निर्मित कोई संस्थान काम करें इसमें कुछ भी ज्यादा खर्चा होने वाला नहीं है केवल मानसिकता का खेल है और इस कार्य को मानव संसाधन मंत्रालय भारतीय भाषाओं के संदर्भ में कर सकता है अन्यथा इस कार्य को कोई भी भारतीय भाषा प्रेमी समूह बनाकर संपादित कर सकता है यह कार्य किए हुए कार्य के बाद में अत्यंत भाषा की दृष्टि से अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण होगा जो पूरी दुनिया में अंग्रेजी भाषा के वर्चस्व को चुनौती भी दे सकता है और सटीकता भी बढ़ा सकता है भारतीय भाषाओं की बात संस्कृत
के माध्यम से दुनिया की सभी भाषाओं को सटीक अनुवाद की व्यवस्था की जा सकती है केवल कार्य होने की आवश्यकता है ऋषि मुनि जो प्राचीन समय में लगातार नई खोजें करती थी उन्हें ज्ञान का सरस का ज्ञान का दृष्टा के रूप में जानते हैं आधुनिक‌ऋषि इस कार्य को कंप्यूटर की सहायता से कर सकते हैं प्रारंभ में कुछ मेहनत ज्यादा पड़ सकती है परंतु परिणाम अत्यंत विस्मयकारी होंगे

How does one access this project?
Of course, going from Sanskrit to English is inefficient and creates
problems where there are really none. But, to be fair, the discipline
on the Sanskrit-English track is higher. Going via Indian languages is
more efficient linguistically, but... sites don't work, databases are
left unupdated, nobody replies to emails - and you know what happens
in the end, I don't need to tell you. That's the real problem. I'm not
saying this to be critical, but I love India, and I see that she's not
shining as she could and should - and the question why arises at once.
