I read about युधिष्ठिर मीमांसक on Hindi wiki and found that he has written a book named 'संस्कृत व्याकरण शास्त्र का इतिहास' .  The book mentioned by you (संस्कृत साहित्य का इतिहास) does not figure out there.

Also, संस्कृत व्याकरण शास्त्र का इतिहास  seems to be available on DLI.

नमस्ते अनुनादजी,
Thanks for the info, after asking the question here I thought to check Ramlal Kapoor catalog and found the correct name of the book.
After your reply I checked DLI and I found the book.

Regards
राम

I knew only Vuakarana Shastra ka Itihas of Yudhishthira Mimamsaka, and I didn't know he had written Samskrit sahitya ka Itihas. So this is the new information and I could not find it in one biography of of Yudhishthir  Mimamsak.

Hope Sitharama might have seen that book and any information in this regard is welcome.

Dr Bhat,
Someone told me the name of the book is "Samskrit sahitya ka Itihas"
I started looking for it and could not find any, so I asked the group. In reply to my question I got Anunadji's reply saying that it correct name could be Sanskrit Vyakarana Shastra ka Itihas.
I also confirm this through Ramlal Kapoor catalog.

It was mistake on my part to ask the question here based on what I learned from a friend.

The correct name is "Sanskrit Vyakarana Shastra ka Itihas "

Regards
Raama

These titles appear in the Recommended Books section of Andhra University:

Samskruta sahitya ka itihas – yudhistak Mimamsaka.

Vyakarana sastra ka itihas – Yudhistar Mimamsaka.

Very good reply. Now we have to ask the authorities, who prepared the syllabus or anyone who has passed the Examination with the prescribed syllabus. How they learned the Sahithya Shastra Ka Itihas. Any of the members who have passed the examination may answer also if they read the textbook by Yudhishthir Mimamsak prescribed for them.

I think, it's a typing mistake in the AU M.A.Sanskrit syllabus manual.
  1. Samskruta sahitya ka itihas – yudhistak Mimamsaka.
is recommended for Vyakaranam subject, and not for Sahityam..
