i want to know how त्राहि  is formed. In apte and elsewhere  it is shown as भ्वादि गण , आत्मनेपदि  and मध्यंम पुरुष लोट् एकवचनं  is त्रायस्व.

​In Sanskrit you can get it like this:

त्रैङ् पालने इति धातुः भ्वादिः, ङित्वात् आत्मनेपदम्।

त्रायते इति त्राः।​ त्रा इवाचरति इति आचारार्थे क्विप्। आकारान्तो धातुः, त्राति। पातीतिवत्। लोटि मध्यमपुरुषैकवचने, त्राहि = त्राता इवाचर इत्यर्थः। 

तेन, 

पौराणिक मंत्र ॐ मृत्युंजयमहादेवं त्राहि मां शरणागतम् । जन्ममृत्युजराव्याधिपीडितं कर्मबन्धनै:॥

श्री नील सरस्वती स्तोत्रम् ||. श्री गणेशाय नमः || घोररूपे महारावे सर्वशत्रु भयङ्करी | भक्तेभ्यो वरदे देवि त्राहि मां शरणागतम् ||१|| 

दारिद्रयपङ्कसंमग्नं संसाराख्यमहोदधौ। प्रतिज्ञातं समुत्पादे त्राहि मां हि तथागत॥ १॥ 

इत्यादयः आर्षप्रयोगाः सिद्धाः।

in the link dictionary the meaning for traahi should be given as SAVE, bachaao.
