Definition of सम्बन्ध

Namaste All,

सम्बन्धो हि सम्बन्धीद्वय भिन्नत्वेसति द्विष्ठत्तवे च सति  आश्रयतया विशिष्ट बुद्धि नियामकं

in one of the talks I heard above statement but not sure about the text source and if its is correct.

Can the scholars of this group please provide me with the source and actual definition.

In the talk it was mentioned its either from Paribhashendu Shekhar or Param Laghu Manjusha

Totally irrelevant though, I am tempted to quote a  parody on tarkika phraseology:

श्यामा कुट्टिरयं साधुः कुट्टित्वात् पूनिकुट्टिवत् 
पाम्बु कुट्टौ अतिव्याप्तिः तद्भिन्नत्वं निवेश्यते ॥

There are a few Tamil words: pUnikuTTI=kitten, paambukuTTi=baby snake, ShyaamaakuTTI is the name of a person.
