I've been benefiting tremendously from the stardict dictionaries created by this group. I thank everyone of you that has contribute to this project.

I have been encouraging many of my friends to use this tremendous resource, and many have followed the instructions outlined on the Google sites to set up these dictionaries. While the instructions are clear enough for tech-savvy people, the feedback I got from a couple of friends were that the instructions were a bit overwhelming, with the multiple options and steps involved.

I thought that it should be reasonably simple to create an installer for such Windows users which would install Goldendict and all the released dictionaries of stardict-sanskrit in one go. (IMHO, the non-tech savvy users probably wouldn't mind having all the dictionaries if it makes the installation simple). With this in mind, I've created an Izpack based installer for Windows platforms. This requires Java, but that should mostly exist on typical Windows machines. It unpacks a copy of Goldendict portable, then unpacks all the dictionaries into the content folder of goldendict, and creates start menu and/or desktop shortcuts named "Sanskrit Dictionaries" so that it is easy to find later.

वार्तान्तरा - PS: abhyankara's sanskrit dictionary is almost entirely proofread and therefore ready for use in its stardict form (https://github.com/sanskrit-coders/stardict-sanskrit/raw/master/sa-vyAkaraNa/tars/abhyankara-grammar__2017-06-05_14-22-30__0MB.tar.gz ) - barring about 28 errors which need to be fixed in the wikisource ( https://github.com/sanskrit-coders/stardict-sanskrit/issues/20 - please go fix if you can ) . ​

I already have GoldenDict working on my Widows Pc, but I tried to see if I could install these Dics through this new facility. It appears that it does not allow both versions to be working independantly. That is not an issue.

But I have been so far unsuccessful in installing the Sanskrit Dics on my Android phone although I have installed ColorDict App. which is working with Wikipedia and another English Dic. I have downloaded Android MW Dic on to the ColorDic folder alright.For some reason ColorDic seems to ignore its presence. Any tips to help me install MW Dic. on to my Android (MotoG3) are welcome. Apte dic does not seem to be available for Android.

What exactly do you mean by "ColorDic folder"? How did you check? did you try goldendict?
