2016.3 End of Phase 2 in May:

May is the last month of phase two support for the 2016.3 branch. At that point it will be in phase three support which only includes fixes for any CVEs. Starting April 1st, 2017 bug fixes will not be accepted in the 2016.3 branch. Redhat 5 and Ubuntu12 Deprecation

To note 2016.3.6 is the last 2016.3 release for both Ubuntu12 and Redhat5. Details included below:

Final 2016.3 Release of Ubuntu 12 Packages

End of Life Support for Ubuntu 12 will end in April 2017. As a result, 2016.3.6 will be the last Salt release on this branch for which Ubuntu 12 packages are created

Final 2016.3 Release of Redhat 5 Packages

Production Phase 3 Support for Redhat 5 will end on March 31 2017. As a result, 2016.3.6 will be the last Salt release on this branch for which Redhat 5 packages are created
