Have you ever witnessed a fresh weekend at a remote hamlet in Kodai Mountains which can be reached only by trekking? Have you made to Kodai by your foot by-passing the ghat roads? Your opportunity to hike, prepare and celebrate CTC b'day in an unforgettable manner is here

Into the serene lands of Kodai which can be accessed only through Trek.

February 14 and 15,2015 ( will start from chennai on friday evening and will be back by monday morning)

Difficulty level
===========
This is a moderate two day trek to enjoy the Western Ghats with 10 kms to hike each day.

Who can Apply?
============
Any member of CTC with good fitness can apply. Preference will be given to social workers.
A prior fitness test will be organized in Pallavaram hills to screen shortlisted registrations.

Shortlisting
========
This trek is open all those with do or die attitude. A fitness/volunteering attitude background check will be done with the previous Trek organizers for experienced trekkers. Freshers and Trekkers who have done Easy Treks will have to attend a fitness test at Pallavaram hill. Shortlisted Trekkers after background check or fitness test will have to make an advance payment. People who show attitude and are self-centric please excuse.

Not more than 20 trekkers.

2500INR (Including your Chennai to Bodi to Chennai Bus tickets and Food)

Minimize your luggage to walk comfortably

Must Carry Items:
=============

1) Good walking shoes & a pair of chapels to move around in the camping site.
2) Small/compact back-pack to carry water, food + essentials only
3) Thick Blanket or Sleeping bag
4) LED torch for night trekking and campsite
5) One extra set of clothes to sleep dry at night
6) Two reusable PET bottles, bowl and spoon
7) Fully charged camera
8) Food and transport will be taken care of by the organizers
9) Extra cash – Rs. 500.

Given the challenging trail and lots of climbing it's ESSENTIAL to travel LIGHT - use a small/compact backpack. Any big/heavy backpack will make difficult for yourself.
