Hey there everybody!
I'm Manuel, a Web Developer currently available for full-time employment.
I recently moved to awesome Berlin because of many reasons, such as curry wursts and the lively IT scene.
After too many years working fixing computers, I decided to switch careers and start studying something new. As of now I have more than 2 years of experience mainly doing Ruby and Ruby on Rails. I'm into Test Driven Development (Rspec and Minitest), Object Oriented Programming, REST, Version Control, I can handle SQL (so far I've used SQLite and PostgreSQL), I comment my code and I also have some JavaScript (JQuery and some other frameworks) and CSS (Bootstrap, SASS) experience. Given enough time I can get an RegEx to work and I'm even able to quit Vim.
For what it's worth, I can express myself pretty decently in English, Italian and Spanish and a bit less decently in French. I'm still working on my (so far still abysmal) German skills, though.
I can adapt a lot and -despite my roots- I will not complain about the coffee, I swear.
I really want to improve my knowledge and skills. Continuing to learn is a requirement I care for a lot. Also new languages are welcome. Future is bright and I hope to keep growing professionally and personally.
