Proposing conference call to talk about improving catkin and its tools

We would like to advance the currently ongoing discussion [1] to improve catkin and its tools to chain and build workspaces more easily.

Beside the communication in the issue tracker we think the discussion would highly benefit from a conference call.

Therefore I would like to schedule a Google Hangout in the near future (basically in the week after ICRA).

I propose the time 10:15am PDT to make it easier for people from different time zones to participate.

The conference call should not take longer than 1.5h - we can for sure schedule a follow up meeting if necessary.

Since we want as many people currently involved in the discussion to be able to attend the meeting we put together a list of potential dates:

* Monday, June 9th

* Tuesday, June 10th

* Wednesday, June 11th

* Thursday, June 12th

* Friday, June 13th

If you are interested to join the discussion and contribute to the process please respond to this email and state which days work for you and which don't.

After we have received your responses we will settle on a specific date.

Please also include your gmail address (you can reply that to me only instead of the whole mailing list) in order to be added to the hangout (otherwise you can only observer the hangout).

I will post the Google Hangout link shortly before the scheduled appointment.

I'd love to help but I could not see much organization from the bug report: maybe I missed it but does somebody have a Google doc that lists the current issues and potential solutions ? Jonathan, Thibault, Jack it seems you guys are the best to prepare an agenda for the discussion right ? Thx.

I would like to briefly follow up on the tickets we came up with about
one and a half months ago.

Until now only one ticket has been finished:

On some of the catkin_tools features is worked actively.
But none of the other tickets has been completed by now.

Please consider contributing to the remaining tickets if you think it
is worth addressing them.
