Select Window Doesn't work if pop up already closed

Hi All,

My Use Case is as below -

1.Click Button

2.Pop Window

3.Select checkBox on pop Up - Its auto closed

#4I want to switch back to main window - but fails.

at step #4

Tried all the solutions like 

Select Window

Select Window  main

Select Window  tile=somename

Select Window  url=xyz

but no luck, can some one please help me to resolve this.

Ugh

Are you in any chance using Firefox as browser and do you let the Firefox automatically update itself? If your answer is yes, it might be worth of trying with other browser or downgrade the Firefox version.
