It's time for electing non-Google members of the Engineering Steering Committee (ESC) [1]
and Community Managers (CM) [2] for the next one year term.

There will be two ballots for voting:
- 2 non-Google members of the Engineering Steering Committee
- 2 non-Google Community Managers
Both elections will be held simultaneously from May 4 until May 18.

Eligible candidates are
- for ESC: non-Google maintainers
- for CM: non-Google community members

If you want to candidate for the next one year term for the ESC or as CM
you can nominate yourself by posting an informal application on the non-public
community manager mailing list [3] until April 30, 2020 EOD.

Community managers must not be steering committee members at the same time.
By applying to be steering committee member, candidates confirm to
be able to dedicate the time that is needed to fulfill this role.

The list with all candidates will be published on May 4 at the beginning of the
voting period on the Gerrit mailing list [4].

Each non-Google maintainer can vote for 2 candidates in each ballot.
The voting happens by posting on the non-public maintainer mailing list [5].

Google maintainers do not take part in this vote, because Google
already has dedicated seats in the steering committee.

Results will be published on May 19 on the Gerrit mailing list [4].

Luca Milanesio (GerritForge): 4 votes
