I am very pleased to announce that Gerrit 2.15 final is now available.

Gerrit 2.15 includes many new and exciting features, as well as an
officially-
supported migration to the new NoteDb storage backend. Please refer to the
full
release notes for more details:
https://www.gerritcodereview.com/releases/2.15.md

The final release is identical to 2.15-rc4. As with any release, there will
be
bugs discovered and fixed in point releases, but I feel confident in
recommending 2.15 as-is.

Thank you to everyone in the community for your patience in this release
cycle,
for reporting bugs, and for contributing to the project.

I just wanted to report some more anecdotal feedback on the upgrade to
2.15: I got a small project with a handful of people that migrated to
2.15-rc4 a few days ago. The upgrade from 2.14.7 "just worked" and we
haven't had any issues. The UI improvements are nice. Thanks to all
the Gerrit contributors!

There were a number of commits included in stable-2.15 since rc4 was released, and they didn't make it into 2.15 [1].  It looks like around half of them came in through stable-2.14 and will be in 2.14.8.

Do you have a timeline for releasing 2.15.1?

Thanks for all the work that went into this release.
We very excited about the progess with PolyGerrit.

One thing to note, the following commit seems to be missing from the release notes - we found out when some of our CI broke.
Maybe someone could add a mention of this for others to not be surprised.

PostReview: Remove support for 'strictLabels' option

Currently we support strict/non-strict label in PostReview,
which is controlled by the 'strictLabels' option.

For strict labels, we require all labels to be within the
user's granted range. Attempting to vote a label value not
granted will fail the entire operation. For non-strict labels,
we squashes the proposed value to the nearest granted value
and the operation will be executed.

This change removes the support for non-strict labels.

This was intentional, I didn't want to do another RC cycle, and I didn't want to release something that got no testing.

Do you have a timeline for releasing 2.15.1?

Probably a week or two. We'll be in touch about testing it.
