pulling elements

I'm having coder's block for some reason,

I think it's the holiday.

I generate XML from a container page.

That container page has two anchor elements that end up referencing degree pages.

I have an element on the program pages that I want to get into the xml.

I copied the element and added it to the container template and can get the xml to generate, but I don't want to have to  populate the data in the element into each of the container pages since the value is already in the program pages.

Can't recall how to pull that element value from the referenced page.

Added complication is that some containers pull from  anchor1, some from anchor2 and some from both. (good news is that the element content is the same in both anchor1 and anchor2 so there's no conflict.

Any ideas?

You can use a list and list blockmark to pull anchors from connected pages or pages connected to another container (just reference the container).
