I'm building a simple blog site using RedDot CMS and Delivery server.  Is there a best practice or sample code floating around here that I can base my plan on?  I'd like some pagination instead of an archive.  All the posts would be off 1 list in CMS if that makes it easier.

The "Best Practice Project" that shipped with v10.1 has a sample of the target dynament which is a good way to create paginated lists. This can also be used for personalize content listings.

 /cps/rde/wsgbpp/stylesheets/hs.xsl/-/html/860.htm/-

Just publish with the list placeholder in a comment and include your dynament code. In one case 2 news sites for large metros off 1 project. In this case we had dozens of lists for news segmentation due to volume but the use of this dynament is proven at large scales.

If you want comments, you can do unmoderated with RDB Dynament or Content Dynaments.

Thanks Tim,

I'm assuming you mean Delivery Server 10.1, in which case we are out of luck. We're still on 3 because of a 3rd party DAM connection.

I'll ask support if they can send me the "Best Practice Project"

PS Were you trying to link me to somewhere?

Actually, I see a Best-Practice 10.1 project in my deactivated CMS projects; that must be it.

I think the code will be in the Management Server project. In LiveServer 3 you may be better off using Verity as the Target Dynament wasn't as robust until v10.

Good idea Tim.  I have some old verity search code which should help me.

Thanks again.

Well, found my 5 year old (convoluted) verity search code.  I was wondering if there are any simpler examples of verity search floating around.  My old search had a dozen keywords per page and the XML and XSL files are a jumbled mess.
