Okay, I owed Tom Mishler some money for something, and he
sent my check back to me.
Now I'm pissed, but in a good way. ;)
Anyone know anything Tom needs or wants you LMK!
Please! I cannot let a good deed like this go unchecked!
I need to find a way to get him back for this terrible good-wrong
doing...not taking money for something....
Just send me a list, please!

Here's a guy who has gone out of his way to help people over the past
year-and-a-half (or so) that he's been around [here]: He's gotten us
numerous toys at cost+shipping, and steered many people away from
scalping (at least he's tried).
Plus, he really _contributes_ to this group -- which is more than I
can say for myself, since I can't find time to read all the posts (let
alone contribute!!)
In addition, he published _RTA-F ToyMania_ -- a magazine about the
goings-on in the toy community. This was a great magazine: No adds,
great content -- it was made up of contributors from the RTA-F
community. He did this in a not-for-profit manner!!
Let's face it folks: Time IS money!! Anyone who does what Jared has
done, deserves to be compensated in some way.
The check I returned to Jared was for a couple of issues of ToyMania
which I won't be receiving (a refund), since the he had to cease
publication. I would rather remember the joys of reading TM gave to
me than the sadness of its demise (thus, the returned check).
I haven't had time to contribute to this group for the past 6-9 months
due to a re-modelling project I'm involved with on my house (just
haven't had the time). But, I hope that once things settle down, I
can return on a more permanent basis (and start back harrassing Roxi,
EGM, Brant, Blair, etc., as well as all you newer guys -- who don't
even know who I am!!).

BTW, Marcia -- I'm *still* going to do a give-away -- as soon as I can
get the _____. (this one should be easy :) ).
