That didn't prevent Sony from filling our the most recent CD issue of
Bernstein's recording of Symphony #2 with about *half* the contents of
Gunther Schuller's LP of short Ives works entitled "Calcium Light Night" --
not including the title work, for some no doubt idiotic reason.
The original Sinclair LP appears to have been something of a one-off for
Columbia Masterworks, having been issued in SQ Quadraphonic sound (on which
I'll let Bill S. report at length, should he wish to do so), following the
series of discs by Gregg Smith Singers and other performers, and most of
all the magnificent Ives Centennial Box of 1974, most of the contents of
which remains locked in Sony's Gitmo of Neglect.
