-> Could someone who please post the games listed in the IG Fusion
-> Magazine?

The section where names and game are mentioned is also divided
between confirmed and rumored and even intended - ok here is how it
reads in issue 10 of IG's Fusion on page 19:

"M2 International Connections Become Clearer

Did they learn a lesson from the launch of the 3DO? Matsushita
and its partners have been quitely working to garner international
third-party support for the M2 hardware spec.
Reliable IG Sources inside 3DO have named a large group of
Japanese and European companies that have become third-party licensees
for the M2 architecture: Asmik, Genki, Glams, Heatsink, Hight-Tech Lab,
Imagineer, Jaleco, Konami, Koei, MicroCabin, Micronet, Pack-In-Video,
Sala, Sanai, Takara, Taito and Tomy Tose are the Japanese companies that
have been licensed, although titles they will produce are currently
sketchy. (Koei, for example, is known mostly for their strategy games
and Takara made their mark with Toshinden.) KONAMI is the only
officially announced licensee of this group thus far.
M2 is also gaining European acceptance as evidenced by the
signing of some notabel third-party companies such as Bullfrog, DID,
Gremlin, Elite, Ocean and Virgin U.K. Smaller European developement
teams have also taken the plunge, including Blue Byte, Cryo, Elite,
Infogrames, Silicon Dreams, Team 17 and Millennium. Titles have not as
of yet been consolidated.
The following games are confirmed and intended to be ready
around the time M2-compatible hardware begins to hit the market or
shortly thereafter.

Capcom - One title, unnamed
Crystal Dynamics - Untitled M2 Baseball
Electronic Arts - Madden 98', NHL Hockey 97', Road Rash
Interplay - Clayfighter 3, Descent M2, Realms of Valor
Konami - Arcade 3-D title, unnamed
Origin - Wing Commander IV
Panasonic/Williams - War Gods, NHL Open Ice
Silicon Dreams/US Gold - Olympic Soccer
Silent Software - Return Fire 2
Spectrum Holobyte - Top Gun
Studio 3DO - M2 Golf, IMSA Racing (simulation)
Warp - D's II

Rumored:

Capcom - One 3-D fighting game (perhaps Star Gladiators), unnamed
Williams - NBA Jam Extreme

Other Confirmed Titles
Under Development Worldwide:

Activision - Mechwarrior (II)
Blue Byte - Battle Aisle
Bull Frog - Magic Carpet 2
Crystal Dynamics - Gex 2
Electronic Arts - Need For Speed II
Elite - Soccer
DID - Eurofighter 2000
id - Quake
Interplay - Rock N' Roll Racing
Millennium - Killer, Super Bikes
Ocean - H.M.S. Carnage, Silver
Rage - Soccer
Silicon Dreams/US Gold - Olympic Decathlon
Take 2 - IronBlood - According to the current rumor, what has been shown
on IronBlood M2 to date were fake mocked-up screenshots;
following their publications, T2 tried to hit 3DO up for cash
to develop the game, the latter company declined and T2 is now
planning a PS version instead.
SSI - Deathkeep
Studio 3DO - Eight titles, including the two launch titles. Several
sports (soccer/baseball/football) games, Galactic Conquest
(Star Control 2-style), Power Crystal (realtime 3-D RPG).
U.S. Gold - Dream Team Basketball
Virgin U.K. - Heart of Darkness"

Also mentioned in the article is how two new chipsets are
supposedly under development. One is an enhanced M2 codenamed MX and is
described as 'M2 on steroids'. BTW it is mentioned that the M is really
most likely a common moniker used for version 2 type projects meaning it
stands for mark, thus 'Mark 2'. And in MX the X is obviously a variable.
MX so far 'offers twice the performance of the M2 chipset...currently
intended for PC and arcade use...'. Finally the totally newer chipset is
codenamed S42 - S being just another letter like M and 42 being the one
calculated as the meaning of life by the computer Deep Thought in the
Hithchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. S42 being post 64bit era forecasting
that probably is the equivalent of the M2 when the Opera was being made.

Ok hope that helps & i quite markedly ;) look forward to M2's
debut. Also MX is a reassuring prospect in the light of PSX2 talks :).
And if S42 is the answer to life then under these same broadly terms
that can enjoy 3DOM2 as much as freedom =) 'nufsaid. Mark 'III' Anthony

Here goes...

Confirmed:
Capcom--One title, unconfirmed
Crystal Dynamics--Untitled M2 baseball
Electronic Arts--Madden '98, NHL Hockey '97, Road Rash
Interplay--Clayfighter 3, Descent M2, Realms of Valor
Konami--Arcade 3-D title, unnamed
Origin--Wing Commander IV
Panasonic/Williams--War Gods, NHL Open Ice
Silicon Dreams/US Gold--Olympic Soccer
Silent Software--Return Fire 2
Spectrum Holobyte--Top Gun
Studio 3DO--M2 Golf, IMSA Racing (simulation)
Warp--D's II

Rumored:
Capcom--One 3-D fighting game (perhaps Star Gladiators), unnamed
Williams--NBA Jam Extreme

Other Confirmed:
Activision--Mechwarrior (II)
Blue Byte--Battle Asle
Bullfrog--Magic Carpet 2
Crystal Dynamics--Gex 2
Electronic Arts--Need For Speed II
Elite--Soccer
DID--Eurofighter 2000
id--Quake
Interplay--Rock 'N' Roll Racing
Millenium--Killer, Super Bikes
Ocean--H.M.S Carnage, Silver
Rage--Soccer
Silcon Dreams/U.S. Gold--Olympic Decathlon
Take 2--Iron Blood (now Iron & Blood)
SSI--Deathkeep
Studio 3DO--Two above, plus several sports, Galactic Conquest, Power Crystal
U.S. Gold--Dream Team Basketball
Virgin UK--Heart of Darkness

Just how accurate the list is is anyone's guess. Bear in mind that some games on the
original 3DO launch list never got made, and that the Olympic titles shown above are
going to be way out of date if M2 doesn't launch until 1997.
