Immortal Grapple has a draft effect "[obf]Press". Considering the bold
text "Only usable at close range before strikes are chosen. Grapple",
when the draft effect should be played? If it should be played before
strikes are chosen, why the text isn't like "This vampire gets an
optional press this round", as usual?

Thanks in advance,
Ector

Play in the press step.

I am sorry, but how is about this rule:

1.6. Overview of Library Cards
1.6.1. General
6. Draft Effects. Some cards have a special booster-pack version that
also lists, in a gray box identified as "DRAFT:", an additional way to
use the card. This effect can only be used in a draft or sealed deck
tournament. Any bold text, like "+1 stealth action", in bold at the
top of the regular text applies to the whole card, including the draft
effect. Card cost applies as normal to the draft effect, as well. Clan
and Discipline requirements are given in the draft effect section (and
are independent of any Clan or Discipline requirement of the regular
effects).

Is this rule incorrect only in concern to Immortal Grapple card or not?

The rule is current.

Errata to the IG draft effect, which cannot be used otherwise, since you can't
play a press in the pre-range step.

You can't play Immortal Grapple in the pre-range step, only the post-
range step. He did say it was a nitpick...
