Hi,
If I have Revelations in play, how are the various effects of these vampires
specialitys handled?

Darius Styx [DS]
<Independent>. As a (D) action, Darius may pick one card at random from
{another} Methuselah's hand. If it is an equipment or retainer card, place
it on Darius at no cost [(using the inferior version, if it requires a
skill)]; otherwise, return it to the Methuselah's hand.

Imogen [Sabbat]
Sabbat Archbishop of Miami: As a +1 stealth (D) action, Imogen may pick one
card at random from the hand of her prey or predator and exchange it with
any card in that Methuselah's ash heap

Kendrick [Sabbat]
Sabbat Priscus: If Kendrick is ready during your master phase, you may look
at a card at random from your prey's hand. If that card is a political
action, your prey discards it.

Can they now pick exactly the card they want, is the prey's hand turned over
and randomized when they pick the card? Is Kendricks abilty any differnt as
it says 'look' instead of 'pick'?
Another thing: Is the prey allowed to indicate which card the vampire should
choose? Could be useful for instance if Darius desperatly needs something to
tame the deck that threatens to sweep te table...

The same as before. Revelations says nothing about changing the randomness
of these effects.

The random card is still chosen randomly. If you need to have the player
picker her hand up and shuffle those cards in order to do that, fine.
A seven-sided die would also work (assuming the standard hand size), etc.

Moot, since the random selection is still random.

I mean what I said, but not, apparently, what you think I wrote.
Random means random. Selecting a particular, known card from a
group is not random and is therefore not allowed (which renders
the question of "Is the Prey allowed to indicate...?" moot).

Hmm ok it's just that the words "since" "is" and "still" confused me,
doesn't make much sense to me but English sin't my native tongue etiher,
maybe that's why. Feels like it shoulda said "since the random selection
still random" to make sense.

As a replacement for the phrase try:

"Moot, because the random selection must be random."

There's no verb in that sentence, then.
