Here the situation: Vamp A have 1 blood on him. Vamp A play a Forced
Awekening and block Vamp B. Vamp B play Psychomania superior...
Does Vamp A burn 1 blood for the fail block and go to torpor from the
1 damage of Psychomania? Thanks!

Psychomachia can only be played if the block is successful, so FA's
non-blocking penalty won't be applied.

ELDB card text is wrong.
No, it isn't. Maybe you don't have the latest version?

Is there any wiggle room in the timing between when the block is
initially declared successful and when Psychomachia is played to order any
other effects that may occur due to a successful block? For example, must
the blocking minion tap? Must Millicent Smith activate? Or is it up to the
acting player's discretion?

I downloaded the latest just the other day from the yahoo group. It
tells me that it is "only usable when an ally or younger vampire is
attempting to block". It should say something about a *successful*
block.

There is no file version there labeled "just the other day".
I recommend the version on the group labeled 8/28.

LOL
I'll try again :-)
Psychomachia is played before the blocking minion is tapped for the successful
block.
Millicent would activate before Psychomachia (or Change of Target or Obedience
or whatever) could be played.
