First Tradition: The Masquerade, The
Cardtype: Political Action
Political Card - Worth 1 Vote. Called by any prince or justicar at +1
stealth.
If this referendum is successful, put this card in play. While in play, each
Methuselah must skip his or her turn or burn 2 pool. Burn this card when you
have either skipped 3 turns or paid 6 pool in cumulative penalties.

The card text as seem clear to me, but I need clarification after our last
weekly game. It was generally held that you could skip 2 turns then pay 4
pool and pick which ever after that so goes around for 5 turns. We had a
dissenting voice that said it was after 3 turns either if it was turns
skipped or pool was spent.

So
A: any combo of skipping or burning can be done, but it is not until 6 pool
or 3 turns in meet it burns
B: It burns after any 3 are picked I.e. burn 4 pool then skip a turn

Thank you ahead of time. We like to get these out of the way so there is no
bad blood in our group even if there is only on dissenter.

Correct.

Not correct (unless it was three skips, if it was three pay pools).

Correct. (Card text).

The card burns when the person who brought it out has either skipped
three turns (consecutive or not) or paid six pool (total).

It's right there on the card. Your dissenting voice just didn't want
to pay the pool to play.

Actually the card was played in my favor. I honestly believed that was
the correct usage of the card.

If this referendum is successful, put this card in play. While in

play, each Methuselah must skip his or her turn or burn 2 pool. Burn
this card when you have EITHER skipped 3 turns or paid 6 pool in
cumulative penalties
I missed reading the either.
Thanks for passing judgment anyway Fanboy. :p
