Sad greetings to all players of The Forest's Edge from me, Nettle Longstalk. When you read this, you will no doubt have already realized that Greyclaw has shut it down. I don't know about you guys, but this place was like a second home to me and it will be sorely missed.

I would like to thank any TFE Imms that happen to see this message. Judging from Greyclaw's final message, you guys will be just as shocked as I was. Anyway, thanks for all the work you put in to make the game as enjoyable as it was.

I'd sure like to hear from my friends and old clannies (especially since I have NONE of your e-mail addresses; never thought I'd need them.). I hope some of you have suggestions concerning finding a new habitat. I just can't imagine there being a place that compares. There's no place like home, eh?

Well, gotta go...there's mourning to be done.

Greyclaw said that if his RL situation changes he might bring the mud back
at some future date. He does not know at this time of course. It is also
suggestive as to why he took it down (a change in RL circumstance). So I
would not sit around waiting or expecting it, but who knows, it may show
again sometime.
