Running here is not because we are ahead in the race. It would be unthinkable for me to run if our checker at 9 was at 10 for example. It's bacause letting O hit pays in losing her anchoring point. It also creates a landing point at 16 for running later if we get hit. The race lead is good but it's clear it costs us in timing, and we currently have nothing much to play, so exchanging some of the race for better timing is a nice option.
X having made his 2 point stuck himself to the plan of having to fill the other points and this can't be done easily, he needs to attack/hit loose etc.

That's all I can add to the comments already made.

I wonder what the best play would be if X had the 5 point made instead of the 2 point.

You have to be very Waltish with the link because the replies make it
clear what the answer is.

Yes, maybe next time I will post "link to follow".
I think you'll agree that it's great to have comments from the likes of Kazaross and Cross to supplement the great comments we get on here.

Yes, that was intentional. As I said, "adapted form".
The top play is top at all scores (DMP, Unlimited, Gammon Go & Gammon Save)

Are you a professional psychic by any chance? You say that you think
I'll agree that it's great to have comments from the likes of Kazaross
and Cross.
Lo and behold! I do agree that it's great to have comments from the likes
of Kazaross and Cross.
A prediction that miraculously turned out to be 100% accurate.
I don't know how you do it.
