I think they had to go to court and have her declared medically
incompetent to live on her own. The real question might be: how did
that situation expire?

She became seriously ill.

Sadly, lots of folks want to exploit that difficult time to feed their own gossip needs or their desire to wallow in the misery of others.

Probably they can now whisper "Lindsay Lohan" to the judge, and they
get a special dispensation. There was someone else in similar situations,
but I can no longer differentiate them all.

The actress from "Clueless" can probably be invoked, too.

So the right wing would say. The left wing would tell you that it is
Stacey Dash that is clearly 'mentally ill, but PC mentally ill'.

...and, of course, the correct answer to the question was: Brittany Murphy.

Yes, but I thought Ob's invoking Dash was brilliant, even if Dash just
holds political views, and Silverstone shows a complete lack of grasping
reality.

True. When I first saw CLUELESS I expected Stacey Dash to be a breakout
movie star. Then she took the role in the TV series version and
then...well, never amounted to anything for the rest of her career. Sad.

Yeah. I dunno if she got blackballed because of the conservative thing
or not; I suspect not, or at least, not until her career had flopped
anyway.

She seems to have had multiple projects almost every year of the 21st
Century, although mostly stuff I've never heard of:

You ever see her claim that cat food and dog food is made from puppies
and kitties, apparently because of the pictures on the boxes? I have.

I think she flopped all on her own and that this right wing stuff is
really just a way to try and market herself in a world where he value
has dwindled to almost nothing otherwise.

I saw the first episode of SINGLE LADIES, but that is about it. Her
career, like I said...sad.

I quit watching THE LAST SHIP, but I did catch part of some thread here
recently about recycling fetus parts at a hospital incinerator.

As for actual cans of cat and dog food, I'm pretty sure they have to
keep that stuff on the up and up since they know a good portion of it is
eaten by people.

I hope they were at least using people that had the virus and would be
