No, a 9.6 is actually a rebound for a show that slid a little from the
premier... probably a statistical glitch.

FBC has showed this movie three times now, with the same results.
Sure, the movie stinks, but I guess the glow of the TV keeps poeple
warm.

Young people don't watch it, prefering the realism of BH9er. Parents
don't watch it because they're living it. And the older people who
have made up a majority fof the audience have either died or have
gotten tired of it. Personally, I think all those TV critics out
there really miss "thirtysomething."
About three weeks ago, MSCL single handedly took what would have been
a first place finish for ABC and kicked the network into third place
all by itself (well, ABC is also to blame since it scheduled multiple
airings).

I must say, I'm discouraged. SeaQuest's show this week was lame. And L&C's
writing has improved steadily from it's second season premiere slump. I

This was a big drop since the last time it aired two weeks ago. Then, it
was building momentum to break into the 40's. But ABC broke its momentum
by preempting it last week for a two-hour Matlock, or something. It's
gonna have to rebuild its audience in the coming weeks.

Don't know; #42 was also Dateline NBC. I assume that is the show that follows
John Laroquette on Tuesdays.

I doubt it. It's a damn fine show, and it seems to be picking up more viewers.

I don't know about the "realism" of BH90210. I mean, last week they went
searching for UFO's--how realistic is that? Sounds more like the X Files
than a teenage drama.
