Hmm... just bought the newest issue of Chinese version Ah! My Godness
and Orange Road manga. I think I can send the mangas to those who buy
them through me probably this Saturday.
Also, I received some emails that some netters received the "new"
Madoka posters. Glad to know you like them. ^_^
Okay after those announcements above is the poll result this time. A
little
bit different from previous results.

No.10: Son Gohan (Dragonbal Z)
No. 9: Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho)
No. 8: Kino Makoto (Sailor Moon)
No. 7: Mizuno Ami (Sailor Moon)
No. 6: Tsukino Usagi (Sailor Moon)
No. 5: Trunks (Dragonball Z)
No. 4: Izumi Noa (Patlabor)
No. 3: Son Goku (Dragonball Z)
No. 2: Hino Rei (Sailor Moon)
No. 1: Belldandy (Ah! My Godness)

Congratulations! Belldandy climbed No. 1 this time!

Other characters some netters may concern about:
Sailors: ALL are in Top 10 except Minako(again...)
Aino Minako (No. 15)
Others please read above.

Saotome Ranma(No. 12)
Hibiki Ryoga (No. 14)

Wapiko (No. 16)

Ayukawa Madoka(eventually out of Top 20...)

Something I think interesting:
Mikami Reiko (GS Mikami) (No. 18)

It's interesting: these three seem to stay in the same positions, poll
after poll, most of the time. Although Gohan seems to have taken a beating
recently. "Super Saiya Man" my ass, the boy needs a wardrobe.

Number 9: WHO?
Number 4: Visualize beach ... visualize sand ... visualize volleyball ...
now visualize NOA + BATHING SUIT ... OH BABY YEAH!
Number 1: It couldn't have happened to a nicer goddess.

I wonder when Okinu-chan will make it up there. (^_^)

The following is from Animedia December 1993.
"The top 10 character that you want to go on a date with"

1. Mizuno Ami (Sailor Moon R) 4322 Kurama (Yuuyuu Hakusho) 8640
2. Aino Minako (Sailor Moon R) 2639 Hiei (Yuuyuu Hakusho) 5521
3. Azarin (Tyler) 1685 Justy Ueki Tyler (Tyler) 1919
4. Tsukino Usagi (Sailor Moon R) 1679 Senpuuji Maito (M Gaine) 1683
5. Yoshinaga Sally (M Gaine) 1563 Trunks (Dragonball Z) 1315
6. Okinu-chan (GS Mikami) 1440 Urameshi Yuusuke (YYH) 1082
7. Yuriko Star (Tyler) 1081 Shintaro (Papuwa-kun) 960
8. Belldandy (Aa Megami-sama) 959 Son Goku (Dragonball Z) 606
9. Mikami Reiko (GS Mikami) 843 Chiba Mamoru (Sailor Moon) 597
10. Kino Makoto (Sailor Moon R) 721 Arashiyama (Papuwa-kun) 481

So Rei-chan is the only Sailor Senshi that didn't make the top 10.

Glad to know this poll gained some concern from netters. ^_^
If you don't appreciate the post for the result you can put it in
your kill file. I think this regular post is the ONLY one I won't change
the format of the subject line; so you can set such files into your kill
file, or I can put [Noise] as "header" of the subject line.
In fact, I don't like your suggestion for putting [Noise] as
"headers", and I don't against script posting.

No, it wasn't my suggestion to put [Noise] as part of a chatty post's
header, but I've forgotten the person who did suggest doing so.

I'm also not against script posting, I remember joking about removing those
who vaulted into the top ten poster's pantheon due to script posting,
though.

> Okay then what are your favourites? ^_^

Hmmmm....most of the female leads in major '70s mecha and superhero anime,
actually, as well as Matsomoto girls. ^_^; Sometimes I like the
supporting female characters as well, such as Takeru's (Mars') adoptive
mother in God Mars. :)

As for '80s anime....Kyoko from MI, the girls from Ryger, Remi from
Goshogun, the above-mentioned characters from God Mars, all lead and
supporting female characters in Patlabor, plus some I can't remember right
now.

As for '90s...Aki from Tekkaman Blade is the only one that comes to mind
right now.

Let me show you:
1. Her abnormal appearance:
Is there any other girl has such an abnormal hairstyle like her?
2. Her abnormal voice:
When I listen Usagi-chan's voice in the Sailor Moon CDs... sorry, I can't

broken...

Minako's like a normal girl. She's more "human". Plus she has a very
unhappy past so I pay much more sympathy towards her, but Usagi...

Did I hear The Call of the Anti-Fan?

Mild-mannered HardKOR Madokist (hmm, can you be mild-mannered and
HardKOR at the same time? oh well, no matter) is minding his own
business, reading r.a.a. and listening to some SH^2 disc for the
umpteen thousandth consecutive time when the hotline rings. No, not
that phone, *that* phone (scene panning to the red one with a "No
Usagi" graphic on the side).

It's the Sailor Moon opposition coordination center. The "odongoids"
(hmm, I really like that :-) have launched a new offensive on r.a.a.
and a prolific poster is needed.

So, to the topic at hand, Mr. Sinclair be damned!

Prepare the Wada Kanako Aural Defense System!!

[rummaging through the arsenal]

Well, there's the "High Art" reverse psychology barrage, but that
doesn't seem appropriate. "Indiscrimnate Pepper Flaming"? Naah.
"Logic"? On r.a.a.? You must be joking!

Hmm, here's an idea (and something you newcomers should take note of
it). Why don't I actually *read* the post that I'm responding to
before firing off a knee-jerk reply/flame? Naah, that would make
sense. :-)

(Borrowing a term from fellow Opposition Operative Brundage) Sailor Loon
cute?!? Bwahahahahaha!

After the poor character designs (and I can't stress how uninspiring
and unattractive the design is), our dumpling headed heroine is the
next best reason to run far, far away from this series.

I'll concede honesty, but honesty does not make a character. Just ask
all the Hikaru-haters (or for that matter the near-universal revulsion
towards Minmei [note sp]). Usagi is simply an unsympathetic lead
character who cannot carry a poorly designed, weakly premised series
the eight eps necessary for the series to allegedly become tolerable.

And with that, the Anti-Fan receded back into the darkness...

Jeez, see what happens when I read these things on my day off :-)

Agitator, a rather Noisy Anti-Fan today

Halfly true.
I'm NOT an anti-fan of Sailor Moon anime.
Basically I like Minako and Ami.
Mako-chan may soon be one of my favourte anime girls! ^_-

However, I think I may be now an anti-fan of Tsukino Usagi.

Definitely yes. ^_^ At least I met some in the net.

Right now I'm listening to Touch Original Songbook 3.
IT'S GREAT!!!!!! TRY IT!!! ^_^

I bought some plastic cards of Sailor Moon last Sunday. One of
them I really like is the one when Mako-chan is eating(probably food
she made for herself) and Usagi-chan is looking at her, with mouth
watered. What I did for it is I use something to cover Usagi(so that
I won't see her silly face) and stick that card by my working desk.
Strange?

Thanks for your effort to balance the voices about Sailor Moon.
I really appreciate your effort. ^_^

Why do you always think of defense system?
Try to take revenge!
What about Automatic A... Ayukawa <Slap!> (tm) Attack System? ^_^

Yes, I agree that the character design of Usagi is rather poor.
If Usagi isn't there maybe I'm now a Sailor Moon fan...

I don't hate Hikaru-chan.
No Hikaru, no Orange Road. Her existence is ESSENTIAL.
All stuff Hikaru-chan did is just to score Kyosuke's heart.

You're not noisy... and thanks again for your effort to balance the
voices about Sailor Moon in r.a.a.

For me, sometimes Madoka ties with Minami, sometimes Madoka alone.

[A long sigh...]
Wei, I can't fully control my body, you know. Although this time
I don't faint I, as usual, felt very shocked when I saw this. I really
don't know whether I'll be shocked to faint next time... (^_^;;)

Well, that didn't stop Priss from accruing many votes in previous
"bad hair polls". 'Course, now with odongo atama around, she may have
competition, but I don't think that'll stop her from picking up votes,
just that Usagi will get more.

Not you, me. You mention my name in an SM thread and as far as I'm
concerned, that's the Call of the Anti-Fan, esp. if you're in anyway
leaning toward the opposition.

Forced into hiding by pro-SM forces who have taken over their club, a
small group of anime fans creep in the darkness toward the spotlight.
Before the odongoids can stop them, the signal goes out, a shining
picture of Usagi projected on the clouds, with the requisite "no"
shield stamped across her face. Now, the opposition will know, and
the Anti-Fan will hopefully come...

Still haven't managed to see Touch though it sounds like I'd like it.

What? (studying the cobwebs collecting on the *rest* of his extensive
CD collection, y'know the non-Japanese part :-) You mean I have other
discs besides SH^2? Oh yes, right here, Sound Color 2, Loving Heart,
Mogitate Special... :-)

What? And bring Sea Wasp and the False Pope into the picture? This
is messy enough as it is.

Keeping the above, because it *never* stops being relevant.

The whole series, as far as I'm concerned. This has been reinforced
many a time here.

hmm, can we bring another SM thread over to the light? KOR!

That was very noisy. I'm still looking for the signal in the original
post. Maybe the part about poor character design, but that's a
stretch. Oh yeah, and mentioning Wada Kanako :-)

Agitator, still not helping my S/N ratio when Anti-Fanning

So how many favorite anime girls do you have now, Charles? ^_^

That would be ...hmm... yours truely, *ouch*.

Hmm, speaking as someone who don't like Hikaru, I don't think anyone, at
least not among KOR fans, hates Hikaru.
Err, i think I'll take back that I don't like Hikaru. I like all characters
in KOR, they are all essential part of the story, more or less. I just like
some more than others. (Of course you all know who i like the most. ^_^)
