Ranma 1/2:A day to remember.2

Authur's notes:You must read the first part in order to get what's going on.
Otherwise, you'll just end up cofused.

(Opening scene:It's a beautiful Saturday morning. We are inside the Tendo's
house where we are supposed to see everyone having breakfast. Ranma and Akane
are sitting next to each other. They are the only ones eating. Genma is not
there. Neither is Kasumi. She just left to return something after cooking
breakfast. Soun is still at his game of shogi, thinking of the next move.
Nabiki is in the livingroom.)

Akane:Ranma.

Ranma:(Stops eating)Yes?

Akane:Have you seen your father today.

Ranma:No, I didn't. I haven't seen him since yesturday.

Akane:I wonder where he could be. It's not like him to miss breakfast.

(We are at the clinic. Dr. Tofu is opening up. He walks in and sees Genma
and Kuno both unconscious on the floor. They looked like they both had a
rough night.)

Dr. Tofu:Kuno! Mr. Saotome!

(Dr. Tofu walks over to them and touches them on the forehead. They both
wake up.)

Dr. Tofu:Ohiyo gozaimasu(Smiles)

Kuno:(Awakening)Where am I?

Dr. Tofu:You're in my clinic.

Kuno:How did we get here?

Dr. Tofu:I don't know. I found you both on the floor, unconscious.

(Genma is now waking up)

Kuno:(Remembering)Now I remember! I was about to give that evil Ranma the
thrashing of his life. Where is that sorceror?

(Kuno looks around and sees Genma.)

Kuno:I have found you, sorceror.(Pulls out bokken)Prepare to die!

Ganma(Panda):Growl?

Dr. Tofu:(Jumps between Kuno and Genma preventing Kuno from attacking)
Wait a minute. Before you kill him, how did you two end up unconscious in
my clinic?

Kuno:I'm sorry. I cannot recall.(Begins thinking)

Genma(Panda):Growl

Kasumi:(Opening the door)Ohiyo gozaimasu

Dr. Tofu:(Glasses fogging up)Kasumi.......

Kuno:Now I remember!(Sees Kasumi)Oh no!

(Once again from outside the clinic we can hear bones cracking loudly,
joints being popped, Kasumi going "Oh my!", the desperate screems of Kuno,
and the horrible sounding growls of a panda trying to screem like a human.)

(Back at the Tendo's)

Akane:I haven't seen Happousai either.

Ranma:I'm glad.........I won't have to worry about him grabbing me.

(Akane smiles then giggles)

Ranma:(Seeing Akane giggle)What's so funny?

Akane:(smiling)I liked watching you punt Happousai away.

Ranma:(smiling)To tell you the truth....I liked doing it.

(Ranma and Akane both laugh. After a few minutes, they calm down. Soun is
still trying to think of a move and Nabiki continue to watch tv)

Ranma:(Teary eyed from the laughing)I haven't had a good laugh in a long
time.

Akane:(Also teary eyed)I haven't laughed this much either.

Ranma:Seriously.....Happousai should be getting back from his nightly panty
raids by now.

Akane:You're right. I wonder what happened.

(We are at the furthest most point of Japan. Out on the edge of the piers
we see Ukyou and Happousai. He finally ran out of land.)

Ukyou:(Taking out her spatula)Now I have you. You'll die for grabbing me.

Happousai:(Innocently)What have I done? I'm just a little old man.

Ukyou:I'm not falling for any your tricks. I've been chasing you throughout
the night. Now that I have you....you'll pay.

Happousai:Look behind you!(Points behind Ukyou)

Ukyou:I'm not falling for that old man. You'd have to do better than that.

Kodachi:(Catching up)Ukyou you coward. I have you now.(Takes out batons)

(Ukyou, hearing Kodachi's voice turns her head around to see Kodachi)

Ukyou:Kodachi!

(Happousai, seeing that Ukyou is distracted lunges towards her and grabs
onto her chest.)

Ukyou:Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!

(Happousai reluctantly releases himself from Ukyou and runs inland. Ukyou,
fuming gives chase once again running by Kodachi as she watches. Kodachi,
after a second realizes what happened and gives chase after Ukyou.)

Kodachi:Come back here and fight!

(We are back at the Tendo's again. Breakfast is over. Akane is in her room.
She's lying on her futon thinking about Ranma.)

Akane:(Thinking of what Ranma said last night)Akane...........I love you.
(Smiles)Ranma......(Sighs happily)

(Ranma knocks on the door.)

Akane:Who is it?

Ranma:It's me, Ranma.

Akane:Come in.

(Ranma enters. He walks over to sits next to Akane.)

Ranma:Akane.

Akane:(Sits upright)Yes?

Ranma:Do you want to goto town later today?

Akane:What are we going to do?

Ranma:I don't know....(Nervously)Maybe we can go out to a movie?(Smiles
weakly)

Akane:I'd love to.

Ranma:(Surprised)Really?

Akane:Of course(Smiles)

(Nabiki knocks at the door)

Akane:Yes?

Nabiki:May I come in?

Akane:Sure.

(Nabiki comes into Akane's room.)

Nabiki:What are you two up to today?

Akane:We both just agreed to go to the movies.

Nabiki:How nice. Is this a second date?

Ranma:Well......I guess you can say that.(Smiles at Akane)

(Akane smiles back)

Nabiki:(Smiling at Akane)Ranma, you sure move fast.

Ranma:Nani?

Nabiki:Just joking....when are you two leaving?

Ranma:We haven't decided yet.

Nabiki:Why not leave now?

Ranma:(Looks at Akane)Well, what do you say?

Akane:Sure, let's go.

Nabiki:What if you see Kuno?

Ranma:I hope I don't see him.

Nabiki:I have a feeling you won't.(Smiles)

Akane:What do you mean by that, onechan?

Nabiki:Well...if you didn't see him yesturday, you might not see him today.

Ranma:I really hope so.(Looks at Akane)Come on, let's go(Smiles and takes
Akane's hand)

Akane:Ok(Looks at Nabiki)We'll see you later, onechan.(Leaves with Ranma,
hand in hand)

Nabiki:(To herself)Well.....it's back to work.(Leaves)

(Ranma and Akane leaves for town, leaving Nabiki and Soun at the house.
After a few minutes, Nabiki leaves. Soun, still looking at the shogi board
is the only one left.)

Soun:(Looks up from the shogi board)Hey, where is everybody? Genma......
Kasumi.......Nabiki.....Akane.......Ranma........anybody?(Begins to cry)
Nobody wants to be around me.

(There is a knock at the front door. Soun gets up to answer it. At the front
door, there is a man holding a letter.)

Soun:May I help you?

Man:Yes, I have a letter for a Genma Saotome....does he live here?

Soun:Yes, but he isn't here right now. I'll take it.

Man:Here you go. (Hands Soun the letter)

Soun:(Looks at the letter for a second then asks)Do you know who this letter
is from?

Man:It's from a Nodoka Saotome.

Soun:Nani?

Man:Yes, I'm sure of it.

Soun:(Nervously)Thank you.

Man:Don't mention it.(Leaves)

(We are now in the livingroom, where we see Soun walking back and forth.
Soun is contemplating on whether or not to open the letter.)

Soun:(Talking to himself)I must look at that letter. Genma and Ranma's life
might be in danger. No...I can't, it's not for me. I can't just stand here
and wait for Genma to come back. But I'm sure it's of her coming to visit
again. I must. Genma might be in grave danger. Yes, I will for the sake
of Genma and Ranma's life. (Opens the letter and reads it)

Dear Genma,

I will come visit this afternoon. But first, I must go to town to pick
up some groceries for when I arrive. I'll be staying a few days. I'll see
you soon.

Soun:Oh no!

(We are now in town. We see Ranma and Akane walking down the street. They
are still holding hands. As the two walk......)

Ranma:Do you know what movie we should see?

Akane:How about we watch Urusei Yatsura? I heard the writer is great.

Ranma:Actually, I was hoping to watch Masion Ikkoku. I heard the writer
for this movie was great also.

Akane:How about we watch Akira?

Ranma:I'd watch that again.

Akane:You saw that already?

Ranma:Yes. It was a great movie. It was totally confusing though. I had to
watch it several times before I understood it.

Akane:That's no good. I want to watch a movie that the both of us never
watched and that we could agree on.

Ranma:I know. How about Tenchi Muyo?

Akane:(Agreeing)Yeah, I'd love to see that.

Ranma:Tenchi it is.(Smiles)

Akane:(Smiles also)I heard that it's great.

Ranma:Same hear. Everyone who saw it says this girl in it named Ryouko is a
babe.

Akane:Nani?

Ranma:That's what they said.

Akane:(Getting angry)Is that why you want to go see it?

Ranma:No it isn't.(Softly)It's because I wanted to be with you.

Akane:(Embarressed)I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get mad.

Ranma:It's alright. Come on let's go.

(Just down the block we see Kasumi walking down the street. She is walking
towards home after her little errand. Ranma, Akane, and Kasumi all stop
walking to meet each other.)

Ranma:Hi Kasumi.

Kasumi:Ohiyo Gozaimasu

Akane:Ohiyo onesan. Did you return the book you borrowed to Dr. Tofu?

Kasumi:Yes I did.(Giggles)

Ranma:What's so funny, Kasumi?

Kasumi:Well...I saw Kuno and your father at the clinic today. They both
seemed nervous when I got there. For the life of me, I can't tell why. Dr.
Tofu is an excellent doctor. They should have nothing to worry about.

Ranma:Why was Kuno and my dad there?

Kasumi:I saw them there yesturday. Dr. Tofu was snapping their necks from
one side to the other after I got there. I think they had cricks in their
neck. I assume that they're there today because the cricks came back and
they want it taken care of.(Smiles sweetly)

Ranma:Where are they now?

Kasumi:I think they are still in his office.

Akane:Probably unconscious(Giggles)

Ranma:(Smiling)Yeah, go figure(Laughs)

Kasumi:Where are you two going today?

Ranma:We are both going out to the movies.

Kasumi:How sweet. Well....I better get going now. I have to start making
lunch in a little while. Bye.(Continues to walk)

Ranma:Bye Kasumi

Akane:Bye

(Ranma and Akane continue to walk. As they walk, they begin talking.)

Ranma:Do you think Kasumi likes Dr. Tofu?

Akane:I don't know.

Ranma:Do you think we should tell her how much he likes her?

Akane:Nah.....we should leave them alone. She'll find out sooner or later.

Ranma:I guess you're right.

(Somewhere in China)

Ryoga:Can you please tell me how to get to the Tendo dojo?

Man:You again?!? Why do you always end up here?!?

Ryoga:(Scatches the back of his head)I wish I knew.

Man:Look.....this is the last time I'm going to help you. If you see me again,
just keep walking and don't bother to ask me, ok?

Ryoga:Fine

Man:It's that way(Points east)

Ryoga:Domo arigato!

(We are now back to the streets of Japan. We now see Kasumi walking home. As
she walks, she is thinking about Dr. Tofu.)

Kasumi:(Thinking)I wonder if Dr. Tofu likes me. I wish he'd ask me out.....
I'd love to go out with him(Sighs and continues to walk)

(We are now looking at Ranma and Akane. They are in front of the movie
theatre.)

Ranma:(Paying for himself and Akane with the money left over from yesturday)I
can't imagine Dr. Tofu asking Kasumi out. I mean.....he goes totally wacky
when she's around.

Akane:I don't know......he really likes her. Probably enough to act normal in
order to ask her out.

(Ranma and Akane enter the theatre. Outside, we see Nodoka walk by carrying a
bag of groceries. She just missed seeing Ranma and Akane.)

(We are now at the Nekohanten. We see Mousse sweeping the sidewalk outside. He
doesn't have his glasses on. We then Nabiki walk up to him.)

Nabiki:Hi Mousse.

Mousse:Shampoo!(Hugs Nabiki)

Nabiki:Didn't we do this yesturday?

(Mousse takes his glasses out of his pocket and puts them on. He notices that
he's hugging Nabiki.)

Mousse:(Still hugging Nabiki)You're not Shampoo.

Nabiki:I know.....now will you please let me go.

Mousse:Gomen(Lets go)Now....what can I do for you?

Nabiki:I came here to ask you out on a date.

Mousse:(Surprised at the proposal)Nani?

Nabiki:I'm here to help you with Shampoo.

Mousse:How's that?

Nabiki:Look....just tell Shampoo that you are going out to lunch with me.
I'll tell you then. Trust me.(Smiles)

Mousse:(Trusting Nabiki, he goes into the Nekohanten.)Shampoo!

Shampoo:(Wiping the tables)Now what Mousse want?

Mousse:Shampoo....I'm going with Nabiki to lunch?

Shampoo:Ok.

(Mousse puts his broom away and leaves with Nabiki. Shampoo watches as they
walk away.)

Shampoo:(Talking to herself)Why would Mousse goto lunch with Nabiki? He not
like Nabiki.....can he?

(As Mousse and Nabiki walk down the street)

Mousse:Where are we headed?

Nabiki:To a restaurant I know. Your treat.(Smiles)

Mousse:But you asked me out to lunch?(Emphesizing on the "me")

Nabiki:Don't worry. It'll all be worth it.

Mousse:How?

Nabiki:I'll explain later.

(As the two walk, they bump into Kasumi.)

Nabiki:Ohiyo gozaimasu, onesan.(Smiles)

Kasumi:Ohiyo Nabiki. Ohiyo Mousse.(smiles)Where are you two headed?

Nabiki:He's taking me out to lunch.

Kasumi:How sweet.

Nabiki:....Have you seen Uncle Saotome or Kuno today?(Smiles)

Kasumi:Yes, I did. I saw the two of them at Dr. Tofu's today. Why?

Nabiki:I was just wondering, that's all.

Kasumi:Well....I better get going now. I have to make breakfast.

Nabiki:Bye

Kasumi:Bye Nabiki. Bye Moose.(Heads home)

(After Kasumi disappears from sight)

Mousse:Nabiki.

Nabiki:Yes?

Mousse:How come you wanted to know where Mr. Saotome and Kuno were?

Nabiki:I just needed to know, that's all.

Mousse:Oh.

Nabiki:Now....let's get going.

Mousse:Ok(The two head off for lunch)

(About a block away, we see Nodoka walking down the street.)

(We are now at the movie theatre. Inside, Ranma and Akane are watching the
movie. As the two watch, Ranma puts his arm around Akane. She leans her head
on his shoulder.)

Ranma:(Softly)Akane.

Akane:(Softly)Hmm?

Ranma:Do you want to go get some lunch after this?

Akane:(Smiles)I was hoping you'd say that.

Ranma:So you will?

Akane:Yes, I will.

Ranma:I'm glad.

(We are now at a restaurant. A really expensive restaurant. Mousse and Nabiki
are inside waiting to be seated. Mousse is freaking out.)

Mousse:(Scared)How am I supposed pay for lunch. I'm not carrying that much
cash.

Nabiki:Don't worry....I won't order much.(Smiles while Mousse's face faults)

(A waiter walks up to them and shows them to their seats. They get seated and
order their food. As they wait for the food, they talk.)

Mousse:Now....why did you invite me out to lunch?

Nabiki:I asked you out so I can get you and Shampoo together.

Mousse:Huh?

Nabiki:The reason I asked you out is so Shampoo will get jealous of you.

Mousse:I don't get it.

Nabiki:If Shampoo thinks she can't have you, then she'll want you more.

Mousse:I get it!......but why do you want to help me?

Nabiki:Well....I want to keep Shampoo from from Ranma. That's all.

Mousse:So he and Akane can get together, right?

Nabiki:Yup.

Mousse:Is there anyway I can help?

Nabiki:Yes.....can you pretend you don't want Shampoo anymore?

Mousse:Nani? I can't do that. I love her.

Nabiki:Yes. I know that you love her. But if you do act like you don't like
her, she'll be scared of losing you and then she'll want you. You get it?

Mousse:Yes, I do. What do I have to do?

Nabiki:Just act like you don't like her anymore.

Mousse:I'll do it.

(The waiter comes with their order of food. They begin to eat.)

(Somewhere in Japan, we see Ryoga talking to a beautiful girl.)

Ryoga:Can you please tell me how to get to the Tendo dojo?

Girl:I'm sorry, I can't help you out.

Ryoga:Ok. Thanks anyway(Walks in a random direction)

Girl:(Talking to herself)God he's cute.

(We are now inside the Tendo's home. Soun is still home alone. He's pacing
back and forth nervously. Kasumi enters.)

Kasumi:Hello father. How is your day?

Soun:(Putting his hands on her shoulder)Kasumi, do you know where I can find
Genma and Ranma?

Kasumi:(Smiles)I saw Mr. Saotome. He was at Dr. Tofu's. I also saw Ranma. He
said he was going to go see a movie with Akane.

Soun:I must go find them.

Kasumi:Is there something wrong, father?

Soun:Yes.......Ranma's mom is coming to visit us.

Kasumi:Oh my!

(We are now somewhere in Japan. We see Happousai, Ukyou, and Kodachi jumping
from roof to roof.)

Ukyou:(Chasing Happousai)Come back here!(Throws some mini spatulas)

Happousai:(Just barely jumping over them)What have I done?

Ukyou:Come here and I'll tell you!

Happousai:Not if my life depended on it.

Kodachi:(Chasing Ukyou)Ukyou! You'll never get away!

(As they chase each other from roof to roof, Ryoga, nearby hears familiar
voices and jumps up to the roof of a house to see what's going on. Just as he
lands, Happousai with his head turn crashes into him. Ryoga is knocked down
off the roof to the ground below landing right on his head. He was knocked
unconscious. Happousai was also knocked off the roof to the ground
unconscious. Ukyou, seeing what happened jumps down to where Ryoga is lying.
Kodachi finally catches up.)

Kodachi:(In a battle stance and batons out)Now I have you!

Ukyou:(Kneeling by Ryoga)We must get Ryoga to the hospital!

Kodachi:Prepare to die!(Jumps at Ukyou, who parries the attacks with her
spatula)

Ukyou:Kodachi! Ryoga's hurt!

Kodachi:I will not be deceived by your traps!(Throws some batons)

(As the two girls fight, Happousai awakens)

Ukyou:(Worried about Ryoga)Stop!

Kodachi:No! I will ahhhhh!

(Before Kodachi had a chance to finish her, Happousai grabbed onto her chest.
After a second, Happousai reluctantly releases and runs away. Kodachi is gives
chase after him.)

Kodachi:(Chasing Happousai)You little pervert! I'll kill you!

(The two vanish off into the distance. Ukyou is relieved that Kodachi went
after Happousai. She then looks at Ryoga and walks over to him. She seems very
concerned about him. She picks him up and runs with him over her shoulder for
the nearest hospital.)

(At the restaurant, we see Mousse and Nabiki finishing up thier meal.)

Mousse:(Finishing up)How was your meal?

Nabiki:(Also finishing up)It was great.

Mousse:Do you think I have enough to pay for this?

Nabiki:Don't worry. If you don't have enough, I'll pay for the rest.

Mousse:Thanks, Nabiki.

(Mousse and Nabiki finish up the meal and pay. The two leave the restaurant
and both head for the Nekohanten. As they walk, Nabiki tells Mousse of what to
do.)

Nabiki:So all you have to do is pretend you don't like her.

Mousse:Gotcha.

Nabiki:Don't forget to tell her that you are going out with me again tonight.
I'll stop by to pick you up.(Smiles)

Mousse:Ok

(They arrive at the Nekohanten.)

Mousse:Nabiki.

Nabiki:Yes?

Mousse:I thank you for your advice.(Goes in)

Nabiki:No problem.(Starts heading towards Dr. Tofu's clinic)

(Inside the Nekohanten)

Shampoo:(Serving customers)Where have Mousse been so long?

Mousse:I told you. I went out to lunch with Nabiki.

Shampoo:Mousse get back to work now.

Mousse:I know.(He walks by her into the kitchen)

Shampoo:(Talking to herself)That strange. Mousse never say he love Shampoo.

Mousse:(Calling out from the kitchen)Shampoo.

Shampoo:What is it, Mousse?

Mousse:I want to tell you that I'm going out tonight with Nabiki again.

Shampoo:Fine(Thinking)Why Mousse go out with Nabiki? Does he like her?

(It's a little past mid afternoon. We are at the movie theatre, where we see
Ranma and Akane walking out. They both seemed to have enjoyed the movie. What
we're not supposed to know was that both enjoyed each other's company more.)

Ranma:How'd you like the movie?

Akane:I loved it.

Ranma:Me too.

(There is a brief pause)

Ranma: So.....where do you think we should go to have lunch?

Akane:I don't know.

Ranma:How about we goto the Nekohanten.

Akane:(Getting angry)Let's not.

Ranma:Why not?

Akane:I don't like Shampoo.

Ranma:Come on. We haven't seen her since yesturday

Akane:And I'm glad. Please let's go eleswhere.

Ranma:Fine. How about Okyou's.

Akane:Well, I'd rather goto Ukyou's than Shampoo's.

Ranma:So you don't mind.

Akane:Well.....I guess not.

Ranma:Ukyou's it is.(Smiles)Let's go.

(They both head off for Ukyou's)

(At the Tendo's we see Kasumi in the kitchen making cookies. Soun is
nowhere in sight. There is a knock at the door. Kasumi answers it. It's
Nodoka)

Kasumi:Konichiwa, Saotome-san(Smiles)

Nodoka:Konichiwa.(Smiles)

Kasumi:Father said you were coming. Please, come in.

(Nodoka enters carrying a bag of groceries)

Kasumi:Here, let me take that for you.

Nodoka:(Handing her the bag)Domo arigato.

(The two both head into the kitchen)

Kasumi:(Taking the groceries out of the bag)Do you plan on cooking tonight?

Nodoka:Yes, but can you please help me out?

Kasumi:I'd be happy to.(Smiles)

Nadoka:Thank you(Smiles)

(The two begin to make lunch. Nadoka, curious about Kasumi and Dr.Tofu.
and starts asking questions about him.)

Nadoka:So Kasumi....has Dr. Tofu asked you out yet?

Kasumi:(Blushing)Mrs. Saotome.

(We are now at Dr. tofu's. We see Nabiki walks in. Inside, we see Kuno and
Genma unconscious on the floor. Dr. Tofu is nowhere in sight.......neither is
his skeleton, Betty. Nabiki sees Kuno and Genma and giggles. She then walks
over to a nearby bookshelf and takes a book. She looks at Kuno and Genma one
last time before leaving for home with the book.)

(Outside of Ukyou's we see Ranma and Akane.)

Ranma:That's strange.....why is she closed today?

Akane:I don't know.

(At the hospital, we see Ryoga and Ukyou in a room. Ryoga is in a bed with his
head bandaged up. Ukyou is sitting next to him.)

Ukyou:(Sympathetic)Ryoga...........

(Back to Ranma and Akane)

Ranma:Can you think of a place to go?

Akane:(Thinks for a second)How about we go home and eat?

Ranma:I guess we should.(Both head for home)

(As the two walked home)

Soun:(Calling from acrss the street)Ranma! Akane!

Ranma:Who said that?(Looks around)

Akane:(Sees Soun running across the street towards them)Dad?

Soun:(Trying to catch his breath)I...have....important....news......

Akane:What is it, dad?

Soun:Ranma's mom is coming to visit.

Ranma:(Shocked)Nani?

Soun:I received a message of her arriving today.

Ranma:Oh no!

Akane:Don't worry...all you have to do is go home as Ranko?

Ranma:I don't want to be Ranko.

Soun:But there is no other way.

Ranma:(Sadly)I know.

Akane:Come on, let's go home....Ranko.(Ranma sighs)

Soun:I have to go tell Genma. Do you know if he's still at Dr. Tofu's?

Akane:I'm pretty sure he still is.

Ranma:Yeah. Kasumi showed up when he was working.

Soun:Fine. I'll go tell him.(Runs towards the clinic)

Akane:(Looking at Ranma)Don't worry, Ranma. We'll help you you out.(They both
head for home)

(At the Tendo's, Nabiki gets home.)

Nabiki:I'm home.

Kasumi:(Coming out of the kitchen)Konichiwa.

Nodoka:(Calling from the kitchen)Konichiwa.

Nabiki:Who's in the kitchen?

Kasumi:Mrs. Saotome.

Nabiki:Nani?

Kasumi:She's here visiting.

Nabiki:Does Ranma know?

Kasumi:I don't know. Father went out to tell him and Mr. Saotome.

Nabiki:Do you know how long she's staying?

Kasumi:I never asked her.

Nabiki:I'm going to like seeing this.

Kasumi:Seeing what?

Nabiki:See how things turn out.

(Meanwhile....at Dr. Tofu's clinic, Soun is trying to wake up Genma.)

Soun:I have to tell you something. Nodoka is coming to visit.

Genma(Panda):<Nani?!?>

Soun:Your wife is coming to visit.

Genma(Panda):<I ain't coming home tonight then>

Soun:What should I say?

Genma(Panda):<Say anything>

(We are now back at the Tendo's. Kasumi and Nodoka are in the kitchen cooking.
Nabiki is watching tv in the livingroom. Akane and a slightly damp Ranko come
home.)

Akane:Konichiwa

Kasumi:(coming out of the kitchen)Welcome home, Akane. You to.....Ranko

Akane:Thank you.

Ranko:Thanks.

Nodoka:(Coming out of the kitchen)Hi Akane. Hi Ranko. How is everything?

Akane:It couln't be better.

Ranko:Everything's fine.

Nodoka:Can you please excuse me? I must check to see if the food is done.

(Nodoka goes into the kitchen. Kasumi follows. Ranko and Akane go into the
livingroom, where Nabiki is watching tv.)

Nabiki:So how was the movie?

Akane:I thought it was great.

Ranko:Same here.

Nabiki:Did you do anything afterwards?

Ranko:Yeah, we went to Ukyou's to eat but she wasn't there. The store was
closed when we arrived.

Nabiki:I wonder where she is?

(At the hospital, Ukyou continue to sit next to Ryoga waiting to see if he's
alright.)

Nabiki:Do you two plan on doing something tonight?

Ranko:Well, not really. Why?

Nabiki:I was hoping to see if you two would like to go out to dinner with
Mousse and me.

Ranko:Nani?

Akane:You're going out to dinner with....Mousse?

Nabiki:That's what I said.

Ranko:Why would you go out with Mousse?

Nabiki:I have my reasons.(Smiles)

Akane:When are you leaving?

Nabiki:Later tonight. You up to it?

Ranko:I guess we can go with you.

Akane:Yeah. Why not? It might be fun.

(Soun gets home)

Soun:I'm home.

Nodoka:(Coming out of the kitchn)Hello Soun.

Soun:(Surprised)You're here already.

Nodoka:So it seems(Smiles)

Soun:I thought you'd be here later that's all.

Nodoka:Have you seen my husband or Ranma?

Soun:(Nervously)Um....no......they went...on.....a.....training....mission.

Nodoka:Do you ever notice that whenever I come to visit, those two are out on
a training mission?

Soun:(Sweating)Um....yes

Nodoka:(Sadly)I wish to see my son just once.

Soun:I'm sorry

Nodoka:Well...I'll see him sooner or later.(Goes into the kitchen)

(Soun goes to the livingroom)

Nabiki:So, daddy....did she suspect a thing?

Soun:No she didn't.

Ranko:What happened to my old man?

Soun:He's decided to stay at Dr. Tofu's

Ranko:That coward!

Nabiki:When is he coming home?

Soun:He said he'll come home when Nodoka leaves?

(Nodoka and Kasumi both serve lunch. Everyone except Genma enjoy the meal.
As everyone there eat.....)

Nodoka:So, Kasumi. Do you think Dr. Tofu will ask you out?

Kasumi:(Blushing)I don't know if he likes me

Nabiki:I'm pretty sure he'd ask you out sooner or later.

Soun:Kasumi, Dr. Tofu likes you?(Starts crying)Such a nice young man.

Kasumi:Oh father.

Ranko:Why won't you ask him out?(Smiles)I'm sure he likes you.

Kasumi:I don't know.....even if he does, I'll never have the time.

Akane:Well, you will tonight.

Kasumi:What do you mean, Akane?

Akane:Well Nabiki, Ranko, and I are going out to dinner tonight. You won't
have worry about cooking dinner for us.

Kasumi:But I have to cook for your father.

Nodoka:I can take care of that.

Kasumi:What should I do?

Nabiki:(Taking out a book from Dr. Tofu's)Here.(Hands Kasumi the book)You can
return this book to Dr. Tofu and while you're there....you can ask him out.

Kasumi:What a clever idea.

Nabiki:I was using that book for other reasons but this is better.(Smiles)

Nodoka:So you'll do it, Kasumi?

Kasumi:Hai.

Nodoka:How wonderful(Smiles. She looks around for the panda)Ranko, where's your
pet.

Ranko:I'm not too sure. He's probably -out- somewhere.(Giggles)

(Akane and Nabiki also giggles, getting in on the joke.)

Soun:Nabiki.

Nabiki:Yes, daddy?

Soun:Where do you three plan on going tonight.

Nabiki:We plan on going out to dinner. Think of it as a girl's night out

(Akane and Nabiki laughs while Ranko just sits there. Everyone continues to
eat their lunch)

(At Dr. Tofu's, Kuno and Genma are about to fight. Dr. Tofu is still not
there)

Kuno:(Now awake)Prepare to die.

Genma(Panda):<Not again!>(Runs away)

Kuno:(Giving chase)Come back here, you sorceror.

(Elsewhere at the Nekohanten)

Shampoo:Why Mousse go out with Nabiki?

Mousse:Why would care if I go out with Nabiki or not, are you jealous?

Shampoo:(Enraged)What?(Calms down) Shampoo just want to know.

Mousse:It's none of your business.(Goes into the kitchen)

Shampoo:(Thinking)Why Mousse act like that? Does Mousse like Nabiki?

Mousse:(In the kitchen and talking to himself)Nabiki...I hope you're right
about this.(Sighs)

(We are now back at the Tendo's. The afternoon has gone by pretty quickly.
It's now evening. Akane, Nabiki, and Ranko are in the livingroom. Nodoka and
Kasumi have gone out to get groceries for tonight. Soun is back to his shogi
board.)

Ranko:(Talking to Nabiki)I wonder what Shampoo will think of you asking Mousse
out to dinner.

Nabiki:I hope she thinks the way I expect.

Akane:What do you mean by that?

Nabiki:Don't worry.

Ranko:Well, we should get going now.

Nabiki:First, we have to goto the Nekohanten to pick Mousse up.

(The three leave for the Nekohanten. A few minutes later, Nodoka and Kasumi
arrives home.)

Nodoka:Don't worry, I could handle dinner.

Kasumi:Are you sure?

Nadoka:I'm positive.(Smiles)

Kasumi:Thank you.(Leaves for Dr. Togu's)

Nodoka:(Talking to herself)Such a sweet girl.(Goes into the kitchen to prepare
dinner)

(We see Nabiki, Akane, and a now male Ranma outside the Nekohanten.)

Nabiki:Can you wait for a minute?

Ranma:Sure.

Nabiki:I want you to come in after one minute.

Akane:What about me?

Nabiki:Just wait outside. Please.

Akane:.....ok.

(Akane and Ranma wait outside as Nabiki goes in.)

Nabiki:Hi Mousse.

Mousse:Hi Nabiki.

Nabiki:Are you ready to go out to dinner tonight?

Mousse:Yes, I am.

Shampoo:(Coming out of the kitchen)No, Mousse stay here.

(Nabiki winks at Mousse)

Mousse:(Seeing Nabiki wink)No, I'm going out with Nabiki.(Turns to Nabiki)Come
on, let's go.

Shampoo:No. Shampoo want Mousse to stay.

Mousse:I have a date tonight. Goodbye.(Proceeds to leave with Nabiki)

Shampoo:Why Mousse not stay with Shampoo?

Mousse:(Turns and looks at Shampoo)What do you care? You never liked me.

Shampoo:But Shampoo don't want Mousse to leave.

Nabiki:Why? So you can treat him like dirt.

Shampoo:..........

Nabiki:Let's go.

Shampoo:Please don't go.

Mousse:No. I've had enough.

Shampoo:Please don't leave Shampoo.

Mousse:Goodbye.

Shampoo:Please give Shampoo one last chance.

Ranma:(Coming in)Hi Shampoo.

Shampoo:Ranma!(Hugs Ranma)

Ranma:Er!

Mousse:Goodbye Shampoo.

Shampoo:(Letting go of Ranma)No. Don't go Mousse.

Mousse:We clearly see you love Ranma.

Ranma:What's going on here?

Mousse:Goodbye.

Shampoo:No. Shampoo want to be with Mousse.

Mousse:What?

(Nabiki winks at Mousse)

Mousse:You're only saying that.

Shampoo:No. Shampoo love Mousse.

Mousse:Do you really mean it?

Shampoo:.....yes.

Mousse:Why would you tell me now?

Shampoo:Shampoo too scared to tell Mousse.

Mousse:But you knew I loved you.

Shampoo:Shampoo sorry.(Starts to cry)

Mousse:Don't cry.(Holds Shampoo)Please.

Shampoo:Please don't leave Shampoo.

Mousse:(Softly)I'll never leave you......I love you.

Nabiki:(Grabs Ranma by the hand)Come on, Ranma.(Leaves)

(Outside, Ranma, Nabiki, and Akane are talking.)

Akane:What happened in there?

Nabiki:Well.....I turns out that Shampoo doesn't want me to go out with
Mousse. She told him she loved him.

Akane:Are you serious?

Ranma:That's what I heard.

Nabiki:I guess she really loved Mousse all this time....Because she felt she
was in danger of losing him, she finally confessed her love.(Smiles)

Ranma:But what about me?

Nabiki:What about you?

Ranma:I thought she loved me?

Nabiki:She loved you because of that stupid amazon rule.

Akane:She does have a point, Ranma.

Ranma:So you mean she really doesn't love me?

Nabiki:Why? Are you sad?

Ranma:Nani?

Nabiki:Does it bother you that she loves Mousse and not you?

Ranma:(Defensively)No

Nabiki:Well you shouldn't. Besides, you have Akane.

Akane:(Blushing)Nabiki!

Nabiki:Now you won't have to worry about her bothering you anymore.(Smiles)

Ranma:You know what....you're right.

Nabiki:Ain't I always. Well.......I'm going home.

Ranma:What about dinner?

Nabiki:(Smiles)You two go.

Ranma:Are you sure?

Nabiki:Positive!

Ranma:Ok.(Looks at Akane)Let's go.(Leaves)

Nabiki:See you later.(Thinking)Besides......I've got stuff to do.

(Nabiki watches as the two walk off. After a minute, she peeks into the
Nekohanten and then heads for Dr. Tofu's.)

(Inside the Nekohanten)

Mousse:Shampoo....will you go out with me?

Shampoo:......Yes.(Smiles)

Mousse:I'm glad to hear that.(Thinking)Thanks, Nabiki.

(At the hospital, we see Ryoga waking up. Ukyou is there.)

Ukyou:Ryoga!

Ryoga:(Weakly)Where am I?

Ukyou:You're at the hospital.

Ryoga:Why?

Ukyou:You and Happousai crashed into each other. You got knocked out.

Ryoga:How'd I get here?

Ukyou:I carried you here.

Ryoga:Thank you, Ukyou.

Ukyou:Please rest.

(Somewhere in Japan, we see Happousai and Kodachi. Happousai was finally
caught.)

Kaodachi:(Holding Happousai)I have you now!(Smiles evily)You'll make a nice
treat for my pet, Madorigame.(Heads for her house)

Happousai:(Scared for his life)Oh no!

(We are now at Dr. Tofu's clinic. Dr. Tofu is finally back. Genma and Kuno
are nowhere in sight. Nabiki enters.)

Nabiki:Kobanwa.

Dr. Tofu:Nabiki. Kobanwa.

Nabiki:How's everything going?

Dr. Tofu:Everything's fine. How about you?

Nabiki:Couldn't be better.(Smiles)

Dr. Tofu:May I help you with something?

Nabiki:Yes....can you ask my sister out?

(We are on the streets of Japan, where we see Kasumi walking down the street.
She seems quite happy.)

(Back to Dr. Tofu's)

Nabiki:So you understand?

Dr. Tofu:Yes, I do. I'll ask her out tonight.

Nabiki:One more thing.....have you seen Kuno and Mr. Saotome?

Dr. Tofu:They were here when I left but weren't when I got back.

Nabiki:Ok(Thinking)Drats...I was hoping they were here when Kasumi arrived.
(Starts to talk)Well.....I better get going.

Dr. Tofu:Bye Nabiki....and thanks.

Nabiki:Bye(Leaves)

(About a minute after Nabiki leaves, Kasumi enters. She was not aware that
Nabiki was there.)

(At a nearby restaurant, we see Ranma and Akane. They are waiting for their
food. Ranma seems sad.)

Akane:Ranma. Are you ok?

Ranma:(Sadly)I'm fine.

Akane:No you're not, what's wrong?

Ranma:Well......I really wish I don't have to hide from my mom.

Akane:..........

Ranma:You don't know how hard it is for me. Everytime I see my mom, I feel sad
because she'll never get to know me. The male side that is.

Akane:Do you think she'll ever get to know the male side of you?

Ranma:I wish I could say yes, but I know it'll never happen. If she ever found
out.........

Akane:Do you really think she'll go through with it?

Ranma:Akane, my mom is a very honorable woman.....she'll go through with it
even if she doesn't want to.

Akane:........

(The waiter serves Ranma and Akane them their food. They eat their food......
quietly)

(We are now at the Tendo's. Nodoka and Soun are the only ones there.)

Nodoka:(Serving dinner)Here you go.(Smiles)

Soun:The food looks delicious

Nodoka:Thank you.

(Nabiki comes home)

Nabiki:I'm home.

Soun:Nabiki, I thought you went out to dinner with Akane and Ranma.

Nadoka:You were with Ranma?

Soun:(Nervously)Did I say Ranma....I meant to say Ranko.(Smiles weakly)

Nodoka:Oh.

Nabiki:Mind if I join you two?

Soun:Sure.

Nabiki:Thank you.

(The three begin eating. As they eat Kasumi comes home.)

Kasumi:Kobanwa.

Nabiki:Kasumi, how did it go?

Kasumi:(Smiling)He asked me out.

Soun:But I thought you were going to ask him?

Kasumi:He asked me before I could ask him.

Nabiki:(Smiles)When is the date?

Kasumi:(Sighs)Tomorrow night.

Nabiki:How nice(Smiles)

Kasumi:May I join you?

Nodoka:Sure.

Soun:Go right ahead.

(Everyone begins eating)

(At the Kuno Mansion, we see Kodachi standing near a pond in her back yard.)

Kodachi:(Still holding Happousai)Any last request before I feed you to my
Madorigame?

Happousai:Yes....how about letting me go?

Kodachi:Nope, I can't do that.(Calls for her pet)Madorigame!

(A huge alligator surfaces and opens its mouth)

Kodachi:Here's some food for you.(Throws Happousai)

(Happousai lands in the alligator's mouth and quickly jumps out before it can
close.)

Happousai:You're gonna have to do better that that.(Grabs Kodachi's chests for
a second and runs off)

Kodachi:(Slyly)Oh no! You ripped off my top.

Happousai:(Running back)Oh sweet!

Kodachi:(Punts Happousai away and laughing)Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

(At the hospital)

Ryoga:Yeah, I even fell for the trick of him being my girlfriend.(Laughs)

Ukyou:(Laughs)I can't believe that.

Ryoga:(Laughing)I should've know it was him. What with the stupid wig.

(It's now later into the evening. We are back at the Tendo's, Akane and a
slightly wet Ranko come home.)

Nodoka:How was dinner?

Akane:It was fine.

Ranko:(Sadly)Yeah, fine.

Nadoka:Are you alright?

Ranko:I'm fine.

Nabiki:(Talking to Akane softly)What's with Ranma?

Akane:(Softly)He sad that his mom will never get to know the male side of him.

Nabiki:Is that so.

Akane:Uh huh.

Nabiki:(Yawns)Well....I'm going to sleep.(Goes upstairs)Onasumi nasai.

Akane:Onasumi nasai.

Nodoka:Soun.

Soun:Yes?

Nodoka:Where should I be sleeping tonight?

Soun:(Nervously)You...can sleep....in(Gets an idea)..Ranko's room. She can
sleep with Akane tonight.

Akane:Dad!

Nadoka:Is that a problem, Akane?

Akane:No.....not at all.

Nadoka:(Yawning)Good night(Goes upstairs)

Ranko:(Sadly)Good night.

(we are now in Akane's room. Ranko and Akane are inside.)

Ranko:I'll sleep on the floor.

Akane:Don't worry. You can sleep in my bed tonight.

Ranko:Where are you going to sleep?

Akane:I'm going to sleep in my bed also.

Ranko:Nani?

Akane:Don't worry...there's nothing wrong with two girls sleeping in the same
bed.

Ranko:But I'm not.....a......girl.

Akane:Are you alright?

Ranko:No, I'm not.

Akane:What's wrong?

Ranko:(Sadly)You know.

Akane:We'll think of something.

Ranko:...........

Akane:Come on, let's go to sleep.

Ranko:Akane......I'll sleep on the floor tonight.

Akane:.......If you insist.

(That night..........Ranko cried himself to sleep.)
