This is an incomplete list of Ranma 1/2 FanFiction available on the
internet. All these stories should be available at Megazones
FanFiction archive at ftp.std.com /archives/anime-fan-works.
Anyone who wishes to add other FanFics to this list, or to correct any
details I may have gotten wrong please feel free to do so.
Version 1.2 should include all the stories currently at ftp.std.com and
the entries have been put in alphabetical order by author. Stories where
the author is unknown are at the end of the list.
The information in this document has been gathered from publically available
information for the most part. Certain details, mostly author status notes,
are from email responses to earlier versions of this list, these details
are NOT guaranteed to be accurate but are included to give you a
better idea of where a given story stands.

the Street Fighter II game? Here's one version of events.
Other chapters of the F.O.O.L. series deal with the goings on of the
combined casts of Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura and Project A-ko.
Light Hearted entertainment originally posted as an April Fools day joke.

Ranma 1/2 characters and tries to help Ranma and Akane get along, but
why do things keep ending up worse than they were before?
At times an interesting story, but Quantum Leap fans will get the most
out of it.

The voyages of the USS Takahashi, with Captain Saotome and his valiant first
officers: Akane, Ukyou, Shampoo and William Riker - Riker's the human one.
A spoof of StarTrek:The Next Generation, very irreverent and not above
stealing ideas from other SciFi series.

"Two Sides of a Coin"

Follow-up to the Netthouen episode where Happosai accidentally created a
demonic female Ranma. What would happen if the magic was done properly and
you ended up with 2 Ranma's, 1 male, 1 female?
A character drama as various characters try to deal with consequences,
ccurrently unfinished.

"Shampoo 1/2: Cat's Cradle"
Benares
Shampoo is out chasing Ranma when an accident knocks her into a storm drain,
some time later Shampoo-Neko drags herself out of the drains and starts
wondering how to get home and human.
Interesting in places, but (IMHO) suffers from an overly emotional and far
too helpless Shampoo - there's no sign of the girl who chased Ranma across
China and later posted her catself to Japan.

"Putting Your Heart in the Right Place"

A FanFic that has a fairly standard Ranma 1/2 universe where some key
relationships are semi-resolved. Has Cameo appearances by some Ninja High
School characters.
A long (12+ parts) story that leads into a later work by John Biles.

Chronicle of the events that occur in Ranma and Akane's final year at

On a class trip to China various members of Tomobiki High get drenched in
the Jusenkyo pools, later on they meet some people from Nerima (Ranma & Co)
who know ALL about their problem.
A Ranma 1/2-Urusei Yatsura Crossover series, some new couples form but is
mostly yet more of the same. Good stuff mostly.

"Kunou's Excellent Adventure"

Kunou starts a day dreaming of his true loves, Tendo Akane and the
pony-tailed girl. Will Kunou chase Akane or Osage no Onna? You decide.
A Choose-Your-Own-Adventure about a day in the life of Kunou Tatewaki.
Those that enjoy CYOA books will be happy, those that can't stand CYOA books
should avoid this FanFic. Those that just want Ranma stories can find an
amusing couple of tales buried in these paragraphs.

Ryouga, Mousse & Genma. But Shampoo has been into the strange chinese herbs
again.

"Ryouga: Lost and Found"

Ryouga blunders into a little girl who says that she is lost, and that she
wants to stay that way. Ryouga tries to help but is uncertain of what to
do, fortunately he follows his nose to Ukyou and she helps him help the
girl.
A story focussing on Ryouga and Ukyou, no romance or anything, just the two
of them trying to help a little girl in two different ways (which clearly
shows which of them is more mature and less naive) and ending up with a sort
of relationship.

from another dimension who have *LOTS* of battle robots to throw away.

Unlikely to be finished, Christian Gadekan is reported as having lost
InterNet access.

Shampoo comes across Colognes supply of Passion Spice while cleaning some
cupboards, and promptly decides to feed some to Ranma.

Ranma uses the magical Nanban mirror to change the past so that he is never
cursed, but while he tries to build a new life he must deal with the last
effect of his old life.
Interesting re-use of the events of the first few episodes.

Ryouga meets some other people who are cursed to turn into pigs, and they
decide to "help" him win Akane's heart. Various minor complications do
arise however .... including some that Ryouga's new friends brought with
them.
A Ryouga based story that tries to explore a little of what being a pig is
all about.

A look at some of the goings on in the Nerima district from the point of
view of Shiratori Azusa's (of the Golden Pair) brother (Juyza). The
pragmatic Juyza scrabbles to make ends meet and understand what is going
on.
See the typical events around Ranma through the eyes of a (relatively)
normal and rational (if self-centered) person.

Ryouga is lost, as usual, only this time he's more lost than he's ever
been before. Ryouga has found a way to travel between worlds, and now he
has to find the way home.

Ranma 1/2 realities.

point of view. Enter the mind of a man obsessed.
An unusual choice for the point of view, unfortunately appears to be
an incomplete series. Author is reported to have lost interest in
Anime so the story is unlikely to be finished.

secret from the rest of the dojo, though the secret is not as well kept as
Ranma & Akane like to think.
An R-Rated story of Ranma & Akane, features meaningful dialogue and sex.

The story opens with Ranma apparently falling to his death and then jumps
20 years into the future where Ranma's friends are given reason to wonder:
Did Ranma really die?
Shows a really unpleasant future and has an interesting view of what
characters would do with no Ranma.

Ranma manages to offend Happosai more than usual, and suddenly finds that
he's losing fights that should be sure things, only the people who beat him
up later claim to have no knowledge of the fights.

A less serious case of Ranma 1/2 characters in a Bubblegum Crisis style
universe. Features menaces such as the "Azusa" & "Happosai" model Bumas.
5 episodes known to exist.

"Ranma 1/2: Life's Dulse Moments"
Leslie Mills
Shampoo buys some more magic herbs to try on Ranma, only the salesperson
is Kodachi in disguise. In the meantime Akane makes lunch for Ranma
while Ukyou takes revenge on Happosai. Events come to a head when Shampoo
feeds Ranma a meal that leaves him unable to speak without making a pun, and
Kodachi has the only cure on the eastern side of the Pacific Ocean.
The story entertains and always has something happening, and those that enjoy
a bad pun (as opposed to a tolerable pun) will be in their element.

During a winter snowstorm Ranma gets unexpectedly wet and finds Akane using
the bath, but the water is hot and the bath is big enough for two....
A short relationship building story.

Ranma's world is invaded by supernatural forces into creating vampire hordes
and brainwashing captured resistance fighters, a grim and gritty story that
works the characters over quite throughly. Cameos by some Kimagure Orange
Road characters.
The "original" Ranma 1/2 invasion story, watch out for the fake ending.

Cologne leads Ranma and the rest of the crew to the holy heavenly temple,
only to have the turtle god mistake Genma for his old enemy, the Panda King.
2 episodes available publically, next episode reported to be completed and

In the volleyball championship match Furinkan High prepares to do battle
with Tomobiki High. Will the martial arts skill of Ranma & Co overcome the
alien technology and raw power of Lum and her friends? Will the stadium
be there at the end of the match?
Written as a break from "Darker Half", fast moving laughs.

One of Ranma and Akane's fights gets out of hand and manages to include
Kasumi in the collateral damage. When Kasumi recovers from the blow her
personality has changed a little..... Kasumi refuses to do housework and
sets out to have a good time. Will Kasumi recover? Will the dojo survive
Akane's idea of housework?
A complete story that explores Kasumi's importance to the Tendo Dojo.

Ranma 1/2 Characters in a Bubblegum Crisis type world where the menace is
a company that manufactures "Jusenkers", creatures created by a mis-use of
the magic of the Jusenkyo pools.
Series still ongoing, at least there is an ongoing storyline not yet
finished.
NOTE: Karl is reported to be continuing all his unfinished stories, but
has difficulty accessing the InterNet.

A story that has Ranma and Akane resolve their relationship once and for
all, after Ranma gets stuck permanently as a girl.
An old FanFic written for the Dayton Anime Club and later released onto
the InterNet.

"Twisted Path"

Happosai summons a demon to cause problems for Ranma, but due to a miscast
spell gets a demon-lord instead. The Demon-Lord promptly tricks Happosai
into freeing it, but before it can cause too much damage Twister arrives
with a grudge to fulfill...
The story that shows that you too can be all-powerful in your own story,
still is better done than "MisAdventures of a Foreign Exchange Student",
all powerful is easier to handle than completely perfect.

Untitled [Jeeves and the Jusenkyo Waters] - A Ranma 1/2-Jeeves Crossover.
Gavin Steyn
The unflappable Jeeves finds that his master has a small problem when some
old souvienirs of an expedition to China, the Jusenkyo Region to be precise,
are thrown carelessly away.
More a Jeeves story using plot elements from Ranma than a true crossover. No
Ranma 1/2 characters appear and the humour is "British" rather than
slapstick. Good all the same.

"The Game of the Gods"

In the home of the anime gods two gods argue about who can do the better
universe and they decide to resolve the argument by swapping universes for
a while. Thus it comes to pass that the cast of Ranma 1/2 get to remake
Tenchi Muyo while the cast of Tenchi tries to remake part of Ranma 1/2.
A silly spoof of both series featuring many cameo's from other anime
universes. Uneven but very good at its best.

A story in 5 chapters that mixes Ranma 1/2 & chinese myth.

The talking pig, P-Chan, recruits a normal Ranma to become one of the sailor
senshi ... oops, P-Chan forgot to mention the Bishoujo, much to Ranma's
displeasure. Ranma and his iinazuke(s) in a different sort of situation,
fighting the Dark Kingdom as the Sailor Senshi.
A well done mix of Sailor Moon and Ranma 1/2, know both series to get all
the references.

Ukyou is kidnapped, and Ranma sets off to rescue her. Shampoo comes along to
help Ranma survive, Akane comes along to save Ranma from Shampoo. But why
was Ukyou kidnapped in the first place...
Posted as the script to the final Ranma Movie for an april fools day joke
in '93, still nailing victims a year and a half later.

unknown - name not included in file.
An american Pen-pal of Nabiki's arrives to spend some time studying at
Furinkan High and gets involved with the goings on at the Tendo Dojo.
Most memorable for a main character that was so wise, noble, perceptive and
skillful that (IMHO) he shut all other characters out of the story.
