I was browsing the Riv site and was surprised to see the fairly considerable(and very recent) price increase for the Hunqapillar frame.  The frames made in Taiwan(like mine) increased to $1,800, while the Waterford/Wisconsin made frames increased to $1,875.  That's up from $1,500 and $1,600, respectively.  That's a 20% increase for the Taiwan made frames, and a 17.19% increase for the Waterford/Wisconsin made frames.

Check it out: Hunqapillar

The other models seem to be holding to their current prices.

I should add that I think the Hunqapillar is well worth the new price(s)...seriously.  It's an amazing bike with an amazing ride.

Of course, I'm really glad to have gotten mine before the increase.  Who wouldn't be, right?

And, I know that Rivendell wouldn't have resorted to increasing the price(s), if they didn't absolutely have to do it.

It was probably underpriced to begin with, especially with the lug-lined paint job.

I fully agree, underpriced. Glad I bought mine at $1500. A joy to
own and ride..
