Has anyone run Schwalbe Marathon Supreme 700x35's on a Ramboulliet or a LongLow (without fenders)? I have JB's (33's) on my LongLow now. Not a lot of extra clearance at the chain stays, but enough. RBW site says the Supreme 35's measure 33 on a 21 mm rim. I'd like to try those on my LongLow, which I think has very similar geometry to a Rambouillet.

The other tire I've been thinking of running on the LongLow (my pavement bike) are Schwalbe Marathon Racers 700x30, but I bet they measure actual 27 or 28. That would be okay.

Any tips from the group (based in relevant experience or knowledge) would be most welcome. Thanks!

I run Schwalbe Delta Cruiser 700x35 on my Rambouillet with fenders. Not sure of actual measurements, but I can check when I get home. I am using 19mm rims.

I have Schwalbe Maraton Supreme tires on my Atlantis and my Salsa
Fargo. Both are the 40mm size. When first installed, about a year
ago, they measured approximately 38mm. Today one set measures just
over 40mm and the othe set is 41mm.

You should have no problem running 700x35 Supremes on your
Rambouillet. I ran 700x35 T-Serves on mine. I wasn't able to run a
fender to but I think that was because of the brakes I was using--
Shimano standard (long) reach. I bet with the Tektro standard reach
bigmouth brakes you could fit an SKS P45.

The Supremes are a great tire. I have them on my Hilsen and love them.
If it wasn't for the high price I'd probably try out the 40s.

I run the Marathon Racers 26x 1.6 on my tandem and really like them a lot.  1.6 should measure 40.5, and mine measure 38, just as a point of reference.  Is there something about the Jack Brown's you don't like?  I just bought my first pair and have about 35 miles on them; they perform quite well on both dirt and blacktop.

The JB's are fine/good, but getting quite a few miles on them. I have the Supreme 40's on my Atlantis and really like them. Thanks,  -- Forrest
