Well I didn't think would ever happen. But here we go. I need to sell my Atlantis. Circa 2006. Lightly used, Nitro stem bars, Richey ocr rims on tiagra hubs, sugino xd2 triple, cranks, dura ace down tube shifters and headset. One or two stone chips painted with matching paint.. How much to ask? 2000?

The went for 1,800-2,200 new back then, right?

You mean 2k Australian, or 2k US? I don't know what the conversion rates are.

Just asking. You could deduct whatever value you feel for the "used" aspect of the bike. Then add value based on any new components you have added to it.

I don't know much about how Rivendells hold their value. And also how much the year it was made makes a difference (frame assembler, painter, tubes used that year, etc.).

Maybe one of the Rivendell vterans around here could chime in on this and help you out.

Sounds like a great bike with great components!!

It is a great bike. I like it a lot. May get a Sam H in the future. Exchange rate is about even. And I bought the frame only when the exchange rate was about 60c to the usd for me. But that's my bad luck. Thinking $1900 will be the, selling price

Hi Brevivelo,

I am in Adelaide and have been interested in getting an Atlantis for some years (or at least since they were half the price they are today!) I suspect that 58cm is about my RivBike recommended size so I'm pretty interested in your proposed sake. I wonder if you could give a few details regarding tyres you are using and standover, cockpit length (bars to back of saddle) etc. A picture would be great too. I don't know how to PM here but my address is kabir(at)chariot.net.au (Kabir was sort of like the Shakespeare of India). I'll just go measure my PBH again...

Savvas.

Nice photos & +1 for the V-brakes. I recently converted my Atlantis
from cantis to Vs & really like them a lot.
