I took a bicycle ride this morning and captured a few photos.

You can find the pictures in my photo stream here.

I hope you enjoy.

p.s. quick and dirty ride report - 45mph gusty winds, 45*ish temperatures, wet to start, mostly cloudy later.  Riding in the wind was fun, challenging, gusty.  Tailwinds were fantastic pushers like you've never felt, headwinds were like climbing up the toughest hills, gusty side winds made me feel like someone was trying to wrestle the bicycle away.  Such weird handling and riding sensation, overall a fun ride.

Very nice. Did you use the iPhone 4 or 4S?

Doug; these photos were taken close to where I-275 meets M-14 in the State of Michigan. That about the location of the cities of Northville and Plymouth. If you look at your left hand palm-side down it's close to where your thumb meets the rest of your hand. As far as I know Michigan is the only place you can use anatomy as a reference point for geography. Isn't that the coolest? :)

While living in Michigan, my favorite trivia question was: which state has the most shoreline? People would normally answer ether Florida or California. Answer is Michigan. Don't believe me?look at a map - it's surrounded by the Great Lakes. Beautiful state - except for the Motor City.

Michigan has the most lighthouses, too.  (One of my favorite trivia questions...)

And as for anatomical geography, I grew up on Cape Cod.  It's impossible to show any one where they are on that wonderful peninsula without holding up your arm and pointing.

Two seconds with Goolge brought this up:

I grew up on the inside of the elbow, though.
