Just curious what the odds were.
I wasn't in it. Maybe next time.

I'm virtually certain there were at least 2.  Me and Liesl.  I cannot speak for anyone else.

I was at Rivendell a few days ago, and the general feeling there seemed to be that the raffle stirred up a nice amount of business. Of course, that was just an impression I got from talking to the people there, not hard data. I sincerely hope the raffle had the desired effect for Riv.

In any case, often when businesses do a promotion, like a raffle, sale, coupons, etc, the sales generated by the promotion can sometimes negatively affect sales in the near-future. Since this is a slow time of year for most bike-related businesses, and lots of big bills come due at the end/beginning of the year, I'd urge you all to buy something from Riv or your LBS or other small businesses that you like.

I wasn't able to enter, so that's a minus one to the total...
:) :) :)

Seriously, it's so cool we had a popular winner (not that there could
be an unpopular winner), and the excitement of dreaming what we might
order if we won was great. Hope Riv benefits from the promotional
effort. It was a lot of fun...
