Ok I tried this in lifestyles forum but the post won't go through.. any one by chance know current and voltage settings for the 461 cache battery and or the usb socket.  I'm pretty sure voltage will be 5 volts for the iphone 4 but haven't figured out the amps.. thinking of going with 1amp at 5 volt.   However i haven't figured out volts for cache battery.. I'm guessing based on little documentation I have that the battery is 1.5 a but can't figure out voltage and can't find documentation on the cache battery either.

any help would be appreciated.

Kelly, I assume your talking Macs, or Apple in any event.  Have you tried Mac Forums.  Give this a shot and poke around a bit.  Folks there can probably help.  good luck:  http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/switcher-hangout/

Kelly, if I had a question about dynamo-powered anything (including accessory chargers), I'd probably start with Peter White.  Have you tried contacting him?

I did start there and post didn't show up...then eventually it did.
I did get it working.
Cache battery. 5.6v 1.5a
Never did get iPhone 4 to work with direct charge.
