I need to let go of my 1994 Bridgestone MB-1.  I am not sure if these are uncommon but I rarely ever see them for sale.  This one is in excellent condition with the exception of a tiny dimple on the top tube.  It's not a dent or crease and is not really noticeable but I want full disclosure.  Past that there are very few marks.  Even the decals are largely there (most older bridgestones from 94 lose the decals).  The only decal with wear is the MB-1 on the downtube.  I have the original bar but the suspension stem is not there anymore.  It currently sports a brand spankin new Nitto bullmoose bar set with lime bar tape grips.  The shifters and all are original.  I have Grip Kings on it and can ship it with either those or the original pedals.  The seat is a brand new (rode it for only a few miles) black Brooks B-17 narrow.  I never had the original seat.  Size is 52CM.  The tires are Schwalbe Marathon 26X2.0 tires.  Just gone completely over by the local shop and in perfect running condition.  $900 shipped

Looks like a lovely bike Johnny and nice build. I miss my too small '94 MB-1.

If you haven't ridden one, the MBs of this era at least, had great snappy handling for an off-road bike and climbed really well. I haven't found a bike to compare yet.

Recommended.

That's the bike I wanted in 1994!  I instead ended up with a '94 49cm MB-2 from Beverly Hills Bike.  Great bike that I put a lot of miles on, but ended up hanging in the garage.  I sold it a few years ago.  Man I always wanted a '94 MB-1 though.  LOVE that color scheme.  If this was about five years ago...

Yep..good thing it's not my size. It's my favorite color/graphics of all Bridgestones. I'd love to find one my size with the original suspension stem.

I sold of the suspension stem (and shouldn't have I guess) because it wasn't really what I was after in a ride but they are very cool.  They pop up often enough for not too much money (unless they are brand new looking).

I do have the original bar just not the stem.  That stem is the only thing original that is missing.

Great bike....a decent amount of interest so far but no one has committed just yet.

I am taking this off the market. I am not sure I want to get rid of it.
