Not mine and I am not associated. Someone here? It's lovely with good to excellent components, but the time-built seems wrong. My late 1995 built All-Rounder has less ornate lugs and a flat top tube. Were the lugs seen here and the rising top tube being used in 1996 or 97?

Ah, really who cares. What a great looking bike. Needs fenders though. It is priced its worth I think; not a bargain but not gouging.

It has the fancy paint option, and is sized oddly, too. 48st/55tt was not a common A/R spec back then. I suspect it's a Joe Starck build. It's my size and soooo pretty...

Wow! That is pretty.
I have seen these on the grainy pics of the RReaders, but never in color. Very nice looking bike.

There's a Flickr group with some color pix of All Rounders.

sorta looks like an ancestor to the Hunqapillar I think.  Wish it were a larger size but then I'd have to deal with those bike  buy-or-not demons.

Hunqa seems a bit more overbuilt for offroad adventure touring from reading the description.  My AR is sturdy and all though:

I happened accross some additional pictures of this bike recently,
when the current owner bought it and posted about it here:
http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=108969

That's one of the prettiest bikes I've ever seen, but I'm going to go
out on a limb and say that it's probably a Mountain/Expedition and not
an All-Rounder. This is of course based on my very recent research
and admittedly limited knowledge of the topic but, since it does in
fact seem to have been produced in '96, before the All-Rounders
adopted the sloped tube ('99), that would explain several things,
including: the proportionally long and very-sloped top tube; what
appears to be relatively minimal drop to the bottom bracket; lugs
that don't match other all-rounders from the same timeframe; and why
the current owner has described the frame as so much "stouter: than
the other road bikes he's used to. From what I've been deducing, it
seems like it usually goes the other way - where a second or third
owner mistakenly refers to their All-Rounder as a "mountain bike"
when they sell it, simply because it has 26" wheels. In this case,
the drop bars were probably misleading. I'm guessing that the next
owner will want to use a shorter stem or bars with less reach, to get
it to fit properly.

I too wish that next owner could be me - if only it was either a
little smaller, to fit my wife, or a little bigger, to fit me.... and
I was rich....

FWIW, I've bought from the seller before (a Joe Strack built/Joe Bell painted  Rivendell single speed with track ends) and he's a pleasure to deal with.  If you're interested in the bike, I can help put interested parties in contact with the seller.  I suspect he's willing to negotiate a sell off of ebay saving him some fees and getting the buyer the bike at a lower price.

The 48 for the seat tube is center to center. A center to top would most likely be about 51 or so.       Jim D.    Massachusetts

Oh this is great. I have a PBH of 88.9. Is this frame too small for me?

Real looker for sure. The specs say "mountain bike," to me rather
than all'rounder, or at least "B-stone XO-inspired." I'd love to add
it to my fleet and it would fit me but there are currently other
demands on my limited discretionary funds.

It has a long toptube in relation to the seattube - MTB low-standover style - so you need to judge based on the toptube. At my 80ish PBH the frame is technically within range, but certainly not with that stem and dropbars. As currently set up, it may fit you.

The bike is currently set up for a saddle height of 70.6 cm. Yes, I asked because (darn it!) it looks to be my size.

A PBH of 88.9 cm should have a saddle height of closer to 80 cm, maybe 78 or 79cm. That's an extra 3" of seatpost, which means you'll need to raise the handlebar a similar amount (if you want to keep the same drop). So it appears to be way too small.

Actually, on second thoughts, it's your size. Buy it! Relieve me of the temptation and ultimately my extended stay in the doghouse!

Of course the saddle height works perfect for me. But it's not gonna happen. I need a triple drivetrain for trails and the hills around my house, and the dropbars would be ditched for a Bullmoose I already have. I'd need to score it as a frameset the way he did, which is the only way I could possibly afford it, anyway. Buh bye.
