I always think ads like this are fishy - that don't say anything about the bike other than the name on the side. I am a born skeptic perhaps. Just seems like if someone has gone through the trouble to obtain a riv they would know more about it, and if they were going to sell it they would take the time to write out a proper description.
That being said, I don't think I have ever seen an Yves for sale secondhand!

The lack of info is kind of strange. I know the size/components/conditions of all my bikes, kids' bikes, neighbor/friends' bikes... random people on the street... but yeah, maybe that's a bit unusual :-)

yep, not saying it necessarily IS fishy, i just have that reaction. Also had it when I saw the orange custom riv that was on ebay and is the subject of another discussion on the list right now, previous to seeing the discussion about it, which kind of cemented my feelings about ads like this. Hopefully it's legitimate and the person has a reason for not posting/knowing the details.

I think you're right, from what I remember last night, the original
asking price was $1900 and now it's already been changed to $1400.
