Lotsa pretty stuff.

Anyway, as a complete set (Hbadge/DT and ST), which model do you like best?

Really, REALLY biased here - The Saluki graphics (esp, the original
foil/painted headbadge - the later heavier metal badges lost a lot of
what makes a Saluki look like a Saluki. And the particular Saluki who
modeled for original badge holds a special place in my heart).

Next up, I like the font used in the AHH graphics and the headbadge
for the Rambouillet.

The "cop badge" headbadge was available as an extra-cost option on the
very first batch of Salukis. I had one.

The Bombadil, I think, is my favorite, but the Rivendell standard for customs is right up there w/ it. I love my Ram as a bike, but it's the bike's qualities, and color, that caught my heart; and not it's head badge nor name. It's fine as a name, it's a fine badge, but not my faves...

Bleriot! I love the biplane, and the spear through the downtube decal. The name is cool, too.

Thank you! I was just about to write, "What, no Bleriot!?! Really, no Bleriot?"

+1 for the Bleriot. Atlantis, Redwood, and Hunq are nice too... but, they're no Bleriot. Well, maybe the Atlantis is. :-)

Every time I see the Atlantis I think of the the boat designer George Buehler. He tells the story of one disgruntled wife calling him a dream merchant. Meaning, he was selling expensive pipe dreams, as few of his plans were going to be seen through to completion and fewer still were going to do any "epic" cruising for which they were designed (I'm sure some of the same is true of the bike). His response was that it wasn't his job to pre-qualify his customers and beyond that, there's a lot worse things in the world than selling boat plans with a less than even odds that their owner does with them as originally intended. He then goes on to write about dreams being a necessary and healthy part of the human condition. I guess the accusation resonated enough that he wrote a compelling and memorable defense. Well, compelling and memorable to me. :-)

Regards,
-Allan

SimpleOne.  Both for the letter font and the headbadge.  The pterodactyl make it for me.  Really ties the room together.

Next would be the custom, then Atlantis.

In order: Legolas, AHH, Wilbury.  For the animals, I'd go with the Saluki and Hunqapillar.  Favorite overall is the custom headbadge.

The Rambouillet headbadge is my favorite.  The art work is good but the motto "Always Willing.  Ever Able" sums up Riv bikes perfectly.

I like virtually all of the Rivendell headbadges. Of course, I'm
partial to the one on the original Waterford era Road Standard like
the one on my bike! (Here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/37964304@N05/7783254128/in/set-72157619758078965

I think that an interesting variant of a Rivendell Saluki headbadge
done as a custom by the owner (Ed Braley), for his personal Saluki
bicycle is in this Flickr photostream set:

Check out the photos, this bike is also, in my opinion, one of the
nicest owner customized Rivendells.. ever!

I'm biased but the Hunq has the best artwork.  I just think it's great they have headbadges.

Yeah - that badge mod is pretty nice. There were two different Saluki badges made. Not sure why, but here's the original version as reference:

I guess I should weigh in as I was able to have every badge in hand for a while. I can narrow it down to two. Even though I own a Bombadil and a Quickbeam, it's a close race between the silver and blue Rivendell "custom" badge, and the Hunqapiller. Both seen here:

Then again, the Legolas is really, really nice. And the Atlantis. And the Rambouillet. And the Bleriot...
