seat stay braze ons

On the seat stay below the brakes on my Hilsen are a couple of braze ons. I dont know for sure what they are for but they look to be in about the right place to mount a B&M bottle dynamo. Is that what they are for or could they be used for that?

No, bottle dynamos are mounted on the front wheel if I'm not mistaken.
Regardless, those braze-ons are for mounting a Nitto Top Rack.

Some are mounted in front, some in back.

I think I was working the day of the petersen ride but it just didn't
appeal to me. But I do enjoy an urban noodle from my house by Greely/
Killingsworth over to St Johns then to Kenton and then home.

Mid-seatstay  rack mounts.  Perfect for a Mark's Rack.  

Hadn't tried to mount a generator there - might be tad low.

Well I figured the only way to know for sure is to see it so I borrowed a Dynamo off of another bike and mounted it. It actually looks like it will work about perfectly. I would need some different washers and a longer screw but it seems to be in the right place. It is slightly low but seems to make good contact with the tire. Its good to have another lighting option. I want a hub dynamo but I could go this route on the cheap and they work pretty good too. Photo attached.
